OCC nominee makes case for bank capital
The Obama administration's nominee to head a key national bank regulator on Tuesday indicated that he may take a tougher stand than his predecessor on capital levels for big banks.

It is important that the nominee for the OCC head sees the importance of Transparency. This is in stark contras to Mr. Walsh who refuses to #1 release the names of the Independent firms hired by the banks to comply with Article VII (Foreclosure Review)of the April 15th Consent order dealing with foreclosures; #2 release the results of the initial sampling of said "review" to the public.
