If taking my gun protects me from terrorists in another country, what tools will I be left with to protect me from the tyrants in this country?

Thomas Jefferson would be proud of this statement. So am I.

Well put but the truth never got in the way of a liberal's agenda. I have to laugh that while there were "negotiations" to broker a truce with the terrorist bastards that they were suicide bombing a block away. The only truly reformed terrorist is a dead one hopefully killed by a US service member instead of in a suicide bombing killing US troops.

Reminds me of the line from Patriot - "Can someone tell me why I should exchange 1 tyrant 3000 miles away for 3000 tyrants 1 mile away?"

Does anyone know the statistics of how the crime rate has RISEN since the first gun control laws were enacted? I've read them before but can't recall, and I'm sure they've changed since then. It always amazes me how the politicians never seem to understand that very few Of the law abiding gun owners are not committing the crimes.
