Scott is one of the reasons Congress only has a 9% approval rating from the US citizens.

Nobody likes socialist idiots like Scott except his entitlement welfare buddies and Californicate residents. Maybe he should move out there where he could be even more popular.

In God We Trust IS the motto of the country, except for socialists like Scott.

It would have been news if this POS voted for ANYTHING to promulgate the well being of ALL people. Not just his black side.

He's doing a better job trying to get America going again in spite of the obstructionist rebel like Cantor.

Find that Congressman Scott is a "Freethinker" and hope you has the hutspeh to keep it up. We are still in a separation of church and state. Unless you believe leaders can tell you what religion you're supposed to believe in???

Bobby Scott hasn't had an original thought in 20 years. He panders to the welfare voters that are not the majority in his district but get him bigger headlines.

Typical useless politician.

I don't watch Fox News. I'm not even a Republican. I was simply asking how Scott is doing a better job, with specific details. You provided nothing, so I think you really have no idea what you are talking about. You obviously can't form any original opinion other than what Dems rant about.

Well I disdain you for encouraging people to commit suicide--I think that it is a sick, cruel thing to say and do. I hope you feel proud of your accomplishments now!!

Nuts, Spam, Clueless. The perfect terms to describe you. ID changing morons like you are a waste of band width.

Have you contacted your social worker to protect your children from you yet?

Don't go away soldiergirl, just go away. Nobody missed you, and I mean NOBODY!

You, like nothead are still too dumb to learn, too stupid to pity.

I do however pity your children and worry about their safety with a wacko mother like you.

Ridiculous how biased this news article is. They spoke with a gentleman who represents 19 different faiths (all of which believe in a god), and then a Christian pastor...of course they think it's important to have "In God We Trust" as as motto. Where is the other side that would have supported Bobby Scott's position? Not only are their practices biased, but they are pushing their own political agenda.
Many people choose to believe in other religions or belief systems or have no beliefs at all. All of which are protected by the constitution. The U.S. is not a theocracy, the people are not forced to believe in or practice any one religion.

Also, the argument that "we've always done it this way" is not particularly valid, if it was, we would still have slavery, women would not be able to vote or have careers, Jim Crow would still exist, etc, etc. Just because it has always been done does not make it constitutionally protected.

"Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof..."

You know that story in the Bible about Ham son of Noah uncovering His nakedness?, About God putting a curse on Canahh, Grandson of Ham because of this. Canaan is the father of the Black race of people, And the Black race bear this curse. This one black dude I know resented this fact. One day I overheard Him cussing The Holy Spirit all to Hell!, You should have heard Him, It was so funny, You'd die laughing!!!.

Don't count on it bothering his/her/its conscience. Psychopaths don't have one.

Grab the chance to talk about your innermost feelings today, especially if you can confide in someone you trust. You don't have to make this conversation really serious or gut-wrenching, either, because even a relatively light-hearted chat will help you to release a lot of pent-up emotion.
