Nobody should have sex with children. Especially not you. If you can't get your mind off of sex with children, you should seek professional help.

I see the thing with a thousand names has been busy this week, it posted this under a woman's name the other day. What sex IS it? No one knows. Let it fart out its message and crawl back into its dirt lair and lick itself till it falls asleep again.

1st. gay pride parades aren't political in nature. they're for fun.
2nd. a very high proportion of people who march in the pride events aren't gay at all.
I have to disagree. There is an element of politics in "Pride" events. But mainly it's a community celebrating their uniqueness just like any other minority. I seriously doubt service members need to get permission to march in a St. Patrick's day parade, A Martin Luther king Jr. parade or at an Italian, Polish or Greek festival.

This does nothing to address my point about the Militaries policy or squelch the reasonable demands of servicemen to march in uniform in other parades.
The pro-life community (for example) could have an entire uniformed battalion marching evey year.
We reap what we sow.
Every parade I have ever seen has Military men marching in their uniforms. Heck they even now often have the local High School ROTC children.

BTW I know you won't admit it but I just saw that taxes paid today by U.S. Citizens are actually lower than when Ronald Reagan was in office. I swear the Republican Party needs to get back to facing important issues instead of trying to stir the pot or naming things after Ronald Reagan.

Your simply wrong..to march in uniform in a St. Patrick's day parade, A Martin Luther king Jr. parade or at an Italian, Polish or Greek festival... requires a waiver that is rarely granted.

You will not see currently serving mambers of the armed forces marching in any parade other than a veterans day or memorial day parade (or 4th of July)..

Its simply Military policy,,,

Dont take my word for it...go find out for yourself.

Do you have some problem with Military personal marching in certain parades now that they have been allowed to march in gay "pride" parades.

This is the part many advocates of same-sex "marriage" & gay people in particular need to read & understand before they go around trying to use psychological terms as political weapons (not that their terribly effective)
"Hudson and Ricketts ( 1980) have indicated that the meaning of the term homophobia has been diluted because of its expansion in the literature to include any negative attitude, belief, or
action toward homosexuality. Fyfe (1983) has also argued that the broad definition ofhomophobia threatens to restrict our understanding of negative reactions to gay individuals. Furthermore, Hudson and Ricketts criticized studies for not making the distinction between intellectual attitudes toward homosexuality (homonegativism) and personal, affective responses to gay individuals (homophobia). They indicated that many researchers do not state the operational definition of what they term homophobic. To clarify this problem, Hudson and Ricketts defined
homonegativism as a multidimensional construct that includes judgment regarding the morality of homosexuality, decisions concerning personal or social relationships, and any response
concerning beliefs, preferences, legality, social desirability, or similar cognitive responses. Homophobia, on the other hand, was defined as an emotional or affective response including fear,
anxiety, anger, discomfort, and aversion that an individual experiences in interacting with gay individuals, which may or may not involve a cognitive component."

Im going to be using this quote and link quite a bit in internet exchanges with dolts who consitantly use the term in the obviously incorrect manner...(almost all the time, that is)..

When did I say it "dirties the uniform" - thats your paranioa.
My comment are all on record under this topix thread.
This was a political pay-off to gays because DODT was repealed and Obama wanted to give them a waiver to march in uniform.
Wait for our soilders to make & be granted the same type of waivers.
Like always ...gays think always of themselves and their feelings and cannot see (as you demonstrate) the purpose of the overarching policy.
Be it the defintitin of marriage or the perscription of politiczing the uniform..
um... what makes you think that i'm gay?

the definition of marriage isn't being changed by allowing gays to marry, and noone wants it to be... and being allowed to march in pride parades and festivals is no more political than is marching in a fireman's carnival parade.

However, new studies show that extreme bigotry or bias whether against homosexuals or others may be considered mental illness.

It doesn't sound like much to be proud of, does it? Being attracted to your own gender is no accomplishment. It's a pretty minor difference, in the scheme of things.

But try growing up knowing that you're different this way, and afraid that your own PARENTS might actually KILL you, or at least throw you out of your own HOME over this minor difference, and then tell me if doesn't make you proud to have survived it. Some kids don't.
