Yes, there is a CODE OF SILENCE within law enforcement in Chicago.

And likewise there is a CODE OF SILENCE for witnesses of gang violence.

Good for the Judge who refused to be bullied by City Hall ...

The Mayor, Rahm Emanuel, needs to get to the root of that Code of Silence and effect positive change.

He needs to make PROGRESS in the right direction.

Is it any surprise that Chicago politics is hopelessly corrupt? Just look at the Obama administration and its way of doing business.

He IS the root of the Code. Why do you think he is mayor. I mean, come on, how slow do you have to be?

After watching the video I think the 'officer' should go to prison for decades! It looks like rahm is trying to cover up for a corrupt police departmantr. What a surprise?

Hell, Chicago doesn't have a leg up on other communities of police having a 'code of silence'.

Cops rarely ticket other cops who are caught breaking traffic laws...they get a pass.

Cops expect special previleges for themselves and their family members. They place themselves above the laws they are required to enforce.

Cops get top of the line pay, benefits, retirements, free take home cars and are rarely held accountable for leaving work early, long lunches and dinners.

Our country has an elitist group operating. Special previleges for them; they are exempt from the laws they are supposed to enforce.

Too many cops are becoming like the elite soldiers in communist and terorist countries: above the law.

Don`t forgot that the Congress and Senate pass laws for us but they are exempt from them.
