Come on people! Give me a break.

The NY Times ran MILITARY SECRET PLANS on the Front Page of their paper BEFORE the plans were executed, forcing our Military to change strategy! They did it on several occasions.

They were hailed at heroes by the liberal media for scooping the Military. The Pentagon has too many liberals who want the USA to fail militarily, and they would do anything to discredit them.

Hoesktra's Twitter is nothing! LMAO...

ARROGANCE thats the best way to spell Hoekstra, of course if you care to shorten his name, IDIOT works. between his upbringing politicaly under John (the fat man )Engler and then his maturation process with the DISASTER of BUSH, is it any wonder that Hoekstra thinks he knows better than the security experts and he doesn't have to abide by the same procedures as any other Political Leader of our country. DAH!

Sooo....since I didn't get an answer to my question, do I then take it no one really knows the difference between a "twitter" and "blog"? Is there a difference?

Apparently the Iraqis are starting to pull their country together, as we pull our soldiers back.

Peace is bad for REPS, so the Hoeks-ter is trying to see- if Iraq is a good place to outsource the rest of Michigan's jobs.

Twitter is for short updates - 140 characters and spaces total per post. Most people on Twitter write a short sentence then add a URL to a blog site that you can get full story and post comments. I love it.

I use it to follow a couple of entertainment sites and Detroit Tiger sites. The appeal, at least for me, is everything is short and to the point, not a lot of long rambling posts.

And yes, it appears a couple of years ago al Quada was using Twitter. Or at least there was something in the news about it being investigated. But I would guess they moved on since being found out.

I just looked back at some of your "intelligent" comments - on here. Well, so much.. for that.

I like to shoot the crap (like everyone else), just to make things a little interesting. If you don't like it, don't read it. Most of time - I skip your comments, so feel free to skip mine.

I am confident that Pete Hoekstra would have not shared the info he did via Twitter if it were an actual threat to any ones security. His willingness to use this technology in the midst of Iraq proves that the situation there has improved greatly and the journalists are desperate for controversy.

Rep. Hoekstra, is a good man. Last night on MSNBC talk show, they were talking about this incident. The news media will go after him for this, and make it hard for him to do his job.
