You should only twitter in the privacy of your own home.

I really don't want to see an old man twittering anywhere in the world.

Dirty twitterer.

I can't for the life of me understand why he felt it necessary to go to Iraq. I don't remember any congressmen visiting Vietnam when we were there.

I wonder if Terri Deboer will throw a fund raiser for Pete Hoekstra like she did for Rich DeVos. Why didn't WOOD tell us that all on the junket were told not to contact anyone. Gee, I'll bet that they are Republicans.

And here is the only reason liberals want this to be news. More of their scortched earth policy.

Don't worry Granhole is almost done, and a liberal will not replace her as she has shown once again, like Blanchard, they are completely inept at governing.

He claims to be "retiring" after current term. Has to get in junkets on your dime before leaving DC like they all do ..

Yes, a lame duck who is not even trying to do his job. I would never vote for him if he ran for governor since I have now seen how irresponsible he is. We don't need such poor judgement, or should I say lack of judgement, in our government. Lack of judgement appears to be becoming more common at all levels of government.

What Terri does on her off time is no ones business. She has the right to support or even put on a fund raiser.

What's twitter? Is it in the realm of My&*%ingSpace, Faceplant, and the other mindless "gotta know everything RIGHT NOW" ways to communicate?

This should let everyone know how out of touch our policy makers really are with the real lives that are lost overseas. Its nothing but a game to them. They get on the computer to share their little dramas as if they are really a part of the action. No account is taken for the lives that could actually be lost due to their actions.
Our congressmen are indeed at a disconnect from the actual situation going on in Iraq and is further proof that we are way in over our heads.

How about when Pete first ran, he promised to limit himself to serving 6 years in Congress. Then after 6 years, he said he really meant 6 terms. Then afterhe served 6 terms, he said he really didn't mean any of these promises at all, because "in this post-9/11 era" his service was needed more than ever.
Pete Hoekstra is not only a hypocritical liar, he is very self-absorbed and has become everything he ran against. I would vote for any other Republican over Pete Hoekstra.
That sounds really petty to me. Why don't you find something more deserving of critisism, like a lie that really could have hurt someone or something a bit more substantial.

So lying to the public and becoming everything one originally ran against is a petty criticism? Are you saying it's OK for politicians to lie to the public, as long as "no one gets hurt?"

Whatever.

Pete Hoekstra was the one who built his entire career by running in his first election against the corruption in Washington and said the incumbent congressman had stayed too long.

Pete Hoekstra is a LIAR just looking to continue FEEDING AT THE PUBLIC TROUGH.
