Look the government forced teachers to become more educated. Now we cannot afford to pay teachers what their education is worth. They have student loans up the wazooo and are fighting over a few jobs. More and more teaching positions are being filled by day-by-day subs that do not even have the training to be in the classroom. The teachers with all that education are being handed a scripted lessons that the districts are paying millions of dollars to use. The children are being crowded in classrooms with no breaks. Stop arguing over who is getting the money and start fighting for this country’s future. The kids are not getting what they need for our nation to survive in a global economy. Stop pointing fingers and blaming!!!! Fix it! Protest!!! Please do something or the United States will not have a future. You think it’s bad now? Wait until your kids and grandkids can't get a job, who is going to take care of you? How is Welfare, Obamacare, Medicare, Insurance… any of it going to work, if America is not working? If you all don't stop blaming and fix education… there is no hope.

Oh, please, our home schooled students are more successful after graduation then those in Public Schools. Our private school students are being hired for what few jobs Obama's illegal aliens with work visa'a haven't taken. Could we have America back for our legal immigrants, and Americans? Thank you.

So where are all these educated teachers? Went to a teachers' conference in Chicago last Spring, and the teacher was not that well educated.

hubby is fighting with the school union now....they are forcing him into early retirement... 27 1/2 years and no respect.... this is ridiculous

What are teachers worth? If they are not producing educated students they are not worth anything. In 10 days the Chicago Public School teachers will go on strike for more money. They are not worth more money. They are not producing people that can read, and write much less qualify for jobs later. We wre paying for glorified baby sitters, nothing more.

To be fair, the teachers have a tough time trying to teach anything to illegal non english speakers, anchor babies of illegal non english speaking parents, the worthless spoiled brats of single teenage baby momma's on welfare who only send their kids to school to get fed and rid of them for awhile. Then there are those spoiled rotten loser kids that only use school as some kind of daily social gathering.

It's not "all" the teachers fault by a long shot. In many ways their hands are tied in so far as discipline or making the kids actually do their assignments/homework. Far too many kids today could care less if they get an education, or even graduate from High School. And far too parents could care less if their kids get an education or graduate, or not. After all, in this society, with people like Obama running the the government, they can always become welfare leeches like their momma's and daddy's and live off the gov.(taxpayers)

I can see why your upset. 27 years is a long time supporting the agenda that has turned the education system into what it is today.

All those union negotiations you threw your support behind to give you another tenth of a percent increase on your pension and a extra personal day off a year, for your "yes" vote.

Maybe that's what was paramount more than a little more percentage of the education tax dollars that fall under union control.

In Los Angeles (LAUSD) recently opened a "learning center" at a cost of 572 MILLION dollars. It boasts Mahogany and Marble trimmed walls, art sculptures and the list goes on. LOL, in one of the most gang infested part of the city. Highly appreciated I'm sure.

Look at the USPS having to pay trillions over the last few years into prepaying union benefits, They say it's to ensure that current and "future employees" will have it. LOL.

Maybe you heard about the cities that have ended their unions as being unsustainable? Where's that money?
I see a trend, like wall street and GM. PEU's will start collapsing as being unsustainable and be bankrupted because of it.

What better way to hide all that money thats long gone......

All students learned in our public schools before we turned them over to the Unions. The teachers were dedicated, and the students motivated. Of course the parents weren't mental misfits. I guess that should be taken into consideration. So how do we save the children? Take them away for drunken, drugged up mothers? Put the gangbangers in reform school? Something has to be done so we can resume educating our children if their parents cannot afford private schools.

I know a lot of good teachers who fought against inept parents and greedy unions. They're retired now. Most of the ones there now have capitulated.

The lesson plans are available on-line, the testing is nationally administered and they are achieving scores like the International Baccalaureate which is administered by England for the world.

Nothing is for free, sure hand out more money because he uses the teacher to praise him. Yet the taxpayers are the ones that eventually foot the bill. More debt = more dependence.

California has the worst education system on the planet.

Mexicans are taught in the Mexican language (not Spanish !!!)

Muslims are taught in farsi or similar anguage.

Blacks are encouraged to speak ebonics, the illiteral language of the land.
Most black kids cannot speak proper English.
Liberals claim it is their heritage.
If this is so, why can't they speak any of the African languages?

Smart kids are given drugs to bring them to the level of the dumb kids.
