"Yet I didn't hear anyone this week crying for stricter gun laws"....Where have you been under a rock?...Shumer & Fienstien both on the same rant last week about "stricter gun laws". These comments were made while talking about this very incident.
Typical hogwash, blame the lawful gun owner for a Government screw up!

Yep BATFE are to blame and the pin heads that controlled them. Good thing some of their agents blew the whistle to set the record straight. Schumer & Feinstein failed to mention that BATFE allowed guns to walk across the border and sat back and waited for them to be used kill Americans. Who needs the so called “Gun Show Loophole” when BATFE and our own government allowed these weapons across the border?

You must blame gun-dealers don,t you think, otherwise you are hardpressed to blame ATF for allowing exactley what the gun dealers have been doing for years and years. At a House hearing last week, internal government documents showed that Melson was closely involved in overseeing the operation and received weekly briefings. Documents released by Congress showed that he asked for and received log-in information and a link to an Internet feed so that he could watch some of the illegal straw purchases taking place in an Arizona gun store.

Melson became acting director in April 2009 and has remained in place because gun rights groups have held up confirmation of the proposed permanent director, Andrew Traver, head of the ATF's Chicago field office.

"Traver has been deeply aligned with gun control advocates and anti-gun activities," the National Rifle Assn. said in January. "This makes him the wrong choice to lead an enforcement agency that has almost exclusive oversight and control over the firearms industry, its retailers and consumers."

The Obama admin. should be asked the tough questions on this, yet so should the Bush admin and the powerful NRA lobbists creating the road blocks for the ATF. Why is the media so silent to the NRA's influence in this matter? Only the NRA's calls for investigation after the facts are reported. What about the obstructions of the ATF for the last 20-30 years? Looks like the NRA wants it both ways here. NRA thrives on controversy as it is good for membership enrollment and selling of merchandise. Thinking the NRA represents common people is a bunch of BS, they are just another corporate big-wig doing what is good for thier bank account. ytrack is riding both sides of the track.

The 2nd amendment prohibits govt from regulating guns. The ATF is an illegal govt agency, and has no legal RIGHT to be regulating anything on guns, as there "is no such thing as an illegal gun".

The idea of govt regulating guns is like Adolf Hitler babysitting Jew kids. Let's give our house keys to thieves for safekeeping. Eh ?

Obama is a crook.

Don't forget Homeland-unsecurity "nappy" ordered the border agents to use BEANBAG ammo and not bullets first.

That in and of it's self unequivocally pins Agent Terrys death on "nappy", can you say treason.

And then couple that with the alaphbet agency "Gunwalker", another act of treason.

So when all is said and done, Agent Terrys death can be blamed on the corrupt scumbags running *DC*.

So one needs to ask, just who are the real terrorist.
