Bayh cites strident partisanship in leaving Senate

There was much partisanship in the Senate. Sen. Bayh is right. What he won't tell you is that he was clearly a player in furthering that partisanship. He didn't mind it at all. What he minded was that his partisan views were not railroaded through.
Bayh saw the coming mid-term elections and was afraid. He feared running and loosing. So now he can have news conferences and claim he was a victim and not a hypocrite... and save having a loss showing up on his record.
Goodbye Evan. Take all the time you want off out of the public eye. I will support you 100% in that.
