All this online "Psych 101 logic" is BS. You don't know what anyone else's motivations are. You clearly want to hand YOURSELF a sense of importance; please, don't do it through me.

And then I read the second sentence and you confirm what I just said.

Christ; how do you deal with the fact that nothing you ever say or do *changes* any of this?

Have you ever heard that 'brevity is the soul of wit'?
Work on it.
TRUE.

Where these boards are concerned, you have a point -- perhaps the only one you've ever had here.

What if everyone had to have a civil union ceremony. Everyone. Then if you choose to you can have a church ceremony. It would be equal for everyone, and if you belonged to a church you could have a church ceremony. That should stop all the crying, and moaning, and feeling sorry for themselves.
It is a GREAT solution which has been championed by some pro-gay sources, but it *won't* stop the antigay crying and moaning. They are now dead-set against it.

Something went wrong with this culture war and the two sides are in v-i-c-i-o-u-s disagreement and can't even be civil to each other.

But yeah, the ANTIGAY now hhhhhate this solution and refuse to cooperate.

Cat74, what did I tell you?!?!?!
Donate2NOM wrote:
<quoted text>No.
The definition of marriage means the joining of 1 man and 1 woman.
Period.
Stubborn, vicious antigay person, hhhhating the solution you suggested and insisting it cannot be.

It's the antigay who are now blocking this solution, so the response of the pro-gay is to continue to fight vehemently for marriage.
Donate2NOM wrote:
Anything else means erasing the definition of marriage.
Cat74, this is *why* this war will rage for a long time. The antigay have gone WAY, WAY overboard and now insist that the status quo be maintained *exactly* as it is with *no* modification. This is paranoia and hysteria.
Donate2NOM wrote:
That's why the attempts of homosexuals/Democrats has failed every time when it's been put to the people to vote on erasing the definition of marriage, 1 man + 1 woman.
Cat74, this is 100.0% false. The 32 state votes have occurred as they did because the antigay *lie about* gays to the general public. If YOU were asked whether YOU wanted horrible, hateful, indoctrinating, perversion-choosing, rape-loving child molesters to have rights, what would YOU say? That is how gays are presented to the public *by the antigay*, thus tipping the state votes in antigay favor.

Same concept as if I took someone into court and defamed and maligned them, then had a jury vote. The jury would imprison them, doubtless.
Donate2NOM wrote:
Even most Democrats will vote for queers, but not counterfeit "marriage".
Christ, what a lie this is.
Donate2NOM wrote:
Other societies take a different approach like Canada, and take away all your property and throw you in jail for dissenting from the government-enforced view.
The homosexuals in America desperately want to set up a similar system here in America where they get to use the government punish and jail anyone who might disagree with them on any point, no matter how slight.
I have started doing something odd, even to me: I've started laughing at some of these posts. It is no longer possible to take them seriously. There's such hatred and paranoia behind them.

The gays are set up like this vicious, inimical "Nazi" group who wants to *DESTROY* everyone and *KILL* them, which is of course (and patently) ridiculous.
Donate2NOM wrote:
Homosexuals absolutely despise all human freedom now that they control the media and most governments.
Homosexuals just want to throw people in prison, because they can.
Makes me sad. Here's a person who might in every other respect be a normal, likable human being, but look at all this. Look at this. It's like a neurosis, it's like poison. Somewhere, it was inculcated into this individual to *viciously hate* gays, and now he's a puppet on a string.

Read all the sordid details about NOM right here:

http://www.splcenter.org/get-informed/intelli...

snip: "For a time, NOM’s name was used by a bus driver named Louis Marinelli, who drove a van for NOM’s “Summer for Marriage Tour” this year. Marinelli called himself a “NOM strategist” and sent out electronic messages under the NOM logo that repeated falsehoods about homosexuals being pedophiles and gay men having extremely short lifespans. In homemade videos posted on his own YouTube page, he said same-sex marriage would lead to “prostitution, pedophilia and polygamy.”

http://www.splcenter.org/get-informed/intelli...

snip: "Last Nov. 15, the Ruth Institute, a project of the NOM Education Fund, published the first eight paragraphs of an essay by anti-gay activist Michael Brown..."
"Brown was clearly suggesting that accused pedophile Jerry Sandusky, Penn State’s assistant football coach until the scandal broke, was a gay man. But actually, as is well known, that’s false. Anti-gay activists claim that all men who molest male children are homosexual....the American Psychological Association has officially concluded that “homosexual men are not more likely to sexually abuse children than heterosexual men.”

Space reasons prevent me from reproducing any more, but just click on the links to get all the details on just what kind of people NOM represents.

Indeed.

NOM are unmitigated, amoral filth.

They show zero respect for their own "religious" views and they show zero evidence of having any moral compass whatsoever.

A question I'd like to pose to impartial readers: are you comfortable with a bunch of government queers always interrogating your kids and family about the "sexuality" of your 6-year-olds, or should you be able to chamber a round and order them off your property?
The queers say the answer is to take away your guns.
What else do you need to know about these people?
They despise every American freedom because we have the firepower to resist them and their evil perverted homofascist pedocrat Government.
Queers/Democrats want to use the force and power of their filthy enemy government so they can touch our little kids homosexually, then retire with government pensions that make the criminals millionaires while we slave for them.
That's the bottom line, and you know it's true.

Oh Jesus, what moron took this case to FED? An unnaturalized/unauthorized immigrant in not given few if any rights according to the Constitution. I have sympathy for what this couple is going through, but this was a bonehead idea. Way to go, these people just f'ed up the prospects for marriage equality for the entire nation!

Quite original.
And you don't even have to think up your own material, as if.
You just keep defending adult male homosexuals always having access to little kids, just as Obama said today for the rest of the Pedocrat party.

You don't have any free-speech rights whatsoever.
Are you familiar with the Charter?
I am.
You're only saying what you say because they are government-approved views that you have to agree with, or else jail.
That's what queers want for America.
Jail and fascism and totalitarianism.
You have zero credibility because if you dissent from promoting homosexuality to children, you could lose all your property and go to prison for the rest of your life.
You don't have any real choice but to say the things that you say, or else, because you don't live in a free country.
Your government fears the free expression from its subjects/taxpayers/slaves.
Queers just hope America also quashes freedom of speech, for obvious reasons.
Freedom of speech, eh? How about the other rights freedom entails? You're just ahamed people like you make America lag behind the countries that have beaten her in some aspects of the real concept of freedom.. Children?!! Let the FBI inform you who are the real criminals and depredators of children.. Or would you rather bury your head in the sand? As long as America doesn't have equal rights for all its citizens it can hardly call itself "free".. The lessons of the past should have make this clear to all americans by now.. It's thoroughly ridiculous that a group of fanatical sandwich makers (for instance) should serve as a symbol of true freedom.. You can't have sunk that low..

<quoted text>Are you suggesting that each state should be allowed under the 9th and 10th Amendments of the Constitution to decide their own marriage and family laws by the citizens of the several States?
If you are, then we're in agreement.
Such a view is entirely what the Founding Fathers had in mind for our Republic, under the rubric of Federalism and the lengthy arguments eventually resulting in the ratification of our United States Constitution.
This country is too big to have the stupid wasteful failure federal government impose its will on all the states and all the citizens.
The Founders put the 10th Amendment in the Constitution for a reason.
So you can vote with your feet and get away from the liberals and queers that want to talk dirty to your little kids in Kindergarten about "gay sex" every day and move to a state with more normal people.
Liberals are free to stay and have the queers mack on their kids in the government schools liberals love to pay for.
The Founders never intended for Washington DC to dictate their values to the citizens of every state in this huge country.
It won't work because it violates the social contract the Founders set up to resolve issues like this.
If Homocrats in Washington mean to impose homofascism by force and coercion, they will fail miserably.
We don't live in a free country any longer, but most of us still believe, however incorrectly, that we're still a free people.
Nope.
