Abercrombie proposes $20M Hawaii Growth Initiative for business
Gov. Neil Abercrombie is asking the Hawaii Legislature for $10 million over each of the next two fiscal years to start a fund called the Hawaii Growth Initiative, which would help to commercialize research done in the state, mentor entrepreneurs and mobilize startup capital.
