Lumbee Recognition Bill Headed To House Vote

First off, I'll say I harbor NO resentment toward Native Americans or any other group. I know and have served with many of them (Cherokees, Apaches, Navajo, and others) and I count them as friends. Universally, they show nothing but contempt for the Lumbees and won't even consider them members of the same race.Lumbees are well known in this area for grand theft auto, rampant drug offenses to include manufacture and distribution, prostitution, and a whole host of other nastiness. Well known for stabbing you in the back (literaly). Everyone descended from somewhere. Who cares? Their bloodlines (if there really are any) are so diluted and inbred (among them they seem to share only about 3 last names) and the fact that there is no evidence that this "tribe" has spoken anything but English (more like their own version of ebonics) would cause anyone of average or better inteligence to question this status they seek, which they obviously seek in order to gain monetary advantage in various government programs. No wonder they were instrumental in getting Obama elected (is he a Lumbee too?). Sad thing that they aren't getting the "federal recognition" that they truly deserve. BTW, if my son of Euro descent marries a Cherokee and one of their offspring marries a black, can the descendents of that union start a tribe?

universally? that's a laugh. i have native friends from all over this country who MARVEL at what my people have accomplished. why don't u worry about the "nastiness" in your own community instead of focusing so much on ours. i'm sure there's a meth lab or two on the cherokee rez that needs infiltrating.

FYI,I was quoting my friends who are Native Americans. And considering your numbers, your "people" account for a disproportionate amount of the nastiness in my community. BTW, where exactly is your community? If it's in Lumberton I wish you all would stay there instead of coming to Raeford and Fayetteville (which has problems aplenty even without you mutants) Other than forming your own race (thru legislation, inbreeding and crossbreeding), what exactly have your people accomplished? BTW, don't forget the level of advancement of the indigenous peoples of this continent before Europeans arrived.

Hey,loser, according to the first clown that posted on here you "people" have white and black blood (but I guess its more convenient not to mention that). I didn't know being half black and half white makes you Indian. My husband's grandmother was Cherokee, his grandfather white{Irish, and German}. Does that make him Indian.
