Well, those so-called "moderates" pretty much got wiped out and since they are responsible for the "enthusiasm gap that kept Democrats at home, one can only assume their goal in even hinting at this is to completely put the party under. Luckily, since their numbers were decimated, while most progressives were re-elected, they don't have the mandate and probably don't have the votes.
