Prove it, name one thats verifiable. Didn`t stop Benghazi or the Boston Marathon bombings. Seems to the NSA is like the TSA harassing and surviellance of law abiding Americans.

I question the targeting specific groups or individuals, primarily for their political views, and using the power of the DOJ or IRS to impede or destroy their livelihood is security. Evidently you blindly trust the bureaucracy to make that decision for you.

In early September 2009, an e-mail passed through an Internet address in Peshawar, Pakistan, that was being monitored by the vast computers controlled by American intelligence analysts. It set off alarms. The address, linked to senior Qaeda operatives, had been dormant for months.
http://www.nytimes.com/2013/06/08/us/mining-o...
Investigators worked their way backward and traced the e-mail to an address in Aurora, Colo., outside Denver. It took them to Najibullah Zazi, a 24-year-old former coffee cart operator, who was asking a Qaeda facilitator about how to mix ingredients for a flour-based explosive, according to law enforcement officials. A later e-mail read:“The marriage is ready”— code that a major attack was planned.

This claim is not very believable. The Boston bombing comes to mind.

There is no reason to store billions and billions of ALL American people phone calls, credit charges.

NO REASON!

and soon your HEALTHCARE RECORDS will be stored.

STOP Obamacare!

STOP the INsanity of the UNinformed.

Where is the ACLU?

Oh, that's right. They are more interested in sexual rights that everyone's privacy.

It is NOT in the best INTEREST of the citizens of the USA to store ALL their PHONE RECORDS, all the credit card charges and soon their healthcare.

Sick sycophants, those Obama supporters.

They give up their rights and privacy.

They beat they breast when it's Bush, but bow down when it's Obama.

Easy pookie, Obama has resigned it twice and expanded it way past Bush.
It has been Obama's Patriot Act since he signed it the first time.

maybe liberals and progressives can get their heads out of their asses now and be outraged like they were when Bush did a fraction of these things?

And lets not forget that the senate Intel Committee knew all of this was going on as well as other members of congress.

We are supposed to have checks and balances against each branch. The NSA (exectutive) is supposed to be counters by the Judicial (FISA Court) but if they are not going to do their job then there is a breakdown in these checks and balances.

It is the exectutive branch whom overstepped but it was the judical whom let it happen. Do not forget that.
