What is truly ridiculous is that Massachusetts Republicans are not fielding a candidate to run for the open seat for Berkshire County Sheriff being vacated by the retiring Carmen Massimiano, Jr..
With all the voter dissatisfaction over the Socialist pecadilloes of the deceitful Barack Hussein Obama and over the inept Deval Patrick, even true blue Berkshire County cannot now be counted on like lemmings to vote for yet another Liberal Democrat for sheriff if at least given the opportunity to vote for an alternative.
Scott Brown showed that Massachusetts voters are willing and able to vote for a Conservative Republican if given the opportunity.
Allowing the Sheriff's seat to go uncontested to a Democrat is a tactical mistake.

I just hope that the stupid voters of this county wake up this time. But I bet the odds are against it. Just look who they voted for in the last election. A modern day robin hood.

Wasn't Heller convicted of price gouging? Is that a felony? Plus it's easier to just b#tch about the make-pretend "socialist agenda".

Well, from personal experience, there is absolutely no doubt that Olver is no Conte...Conte was without a doubt the most accessible rep we had. Try dealing with Olver's staff sometime, if they disagree with you, they ignore you, fact not fiction. The issues about which I allude to are benefits for active duty troops and his jumping on the bandwagon for a convicted killer of FBI agents and wanting a new trial after the matter has been to the Supreme Court many times...well, I guess I can't expect much from Amherst and its philosiphies...

"We wasted 12 months on health care when we should have been focusing on creating private sector jobs," Golnick said.

Amen to this line! And isn't it time for Olver to go?

Tax and spend or cut taxes and spend. They both have led to a massive deficit that has eaten this country alive. In the long run, neither Democrats nor Republicans are more or less to blame for the disaster we face at this time. We have allowed our employees to run our company into the ground. The buck stops here; at our doorstep. Vote the person, not the party. Bring in people who will do our wishes/demands. "We have met the enemy and he is us." Pogo Possum.

Get rid of all CAREER POLITICIANS....the ones who have grown fat and stupid from the ridiculous and excessive party loyalty of the voting public especially here in Massachusetts and most particularly right here in Berkshire County.

I'm talking Berkshire County residents who are so party loyal that they would vote for anybody who called themselves a Democrat regardless of whether or not they were actually qualified to do the job.

1) look up the word "pecadillos" you obviously have never used a dictionary, because you don't know what it means. A petty misdeed or small sin or fault, from the Spanish diminutive of pecado (sin). When you rant about Obama's "socialist" policies, you must think it's a vastly grander evil than a petty misdeed, no?

2) Scott Brown is a conservative Republican? Good luck convincing anyone of that. He's going to vote to confirm Kagan, and he supported Massachusetts MittCare, too.

I am flattered. If I annoy cretins with no discernible brain waves like you, it makes my day. It's too easy, though.
