Senate hopefuls square off

There are 9 comments on the Lowell Sun story from Oct 19, 2009, titled Senate hopefuls square off. In it, Lowell Sun reports that:

A prosecutor. A politician. A citizen activist. A businessman. These biographies of the four Democrats vying to replace Edward Kennedy in the U.S. Senate could determine who voters chose in a primary election that features a field of candidates with remarkably similar policy positions on everything from the war in Afghanistan to health care.

Boy, am I glad Scott Brown is running for this same U.S. Senate seat. We are truly doomed if we go along and elect one of these four liberal nut-case politicians...

I do not believe a republican can win a senate seat in MA.

It is great when 4 people stand on stage and try and out liberal each other.
You would think one of them would be smart enough to say...I am different...I am not a progressive tax and spend liberal.
But I forget they are progressive liberals after all.

Does it matter, none of them do what people want and need to survive. 1. Deport illegal immigrants who are taking our jobs, 2. Stop giving out visas to workers who take construction jobs, they work for peanuts, have little expense as they all live in one house and don't bring their families, and they send the money back to their country. The brazilian dream, and 3. Enourmous fines for hiring illegals, fines based on companies profit for the year, take 1/2 their profit and put it into unemployment benefits.

They all give me a headache. Put all four of them in a room and you still have an empty room. With politicians it seems these days that promise is a synonym for lie.

At least there was a laugh in the story. Khazei said: "he is the only real "reformer" in the race who, despite lack of name recognition or personal wealth, has refused to take donations from lobbyists or PACs."

If elected, they will own him just like they own the rest of them.

Capuano has run unopposed all 5 times. I hope he doesn't replace Kennedy, we need a big change and he is a Kennedy clone.

"Capuano is considered to be one of the biggest supporters in Congress for increasing international aid funding. He has become a voice for victims of the crisis in the Sudan and has secured new funding bills aimed at assisting poor African nations."

WE CAN"T AFFORD CAPUANO!!!!

Unbelievable with the national debt and unemployment they want to give money to other countries as well as continuing to take in all their poor illegals and pass out visas to take our jobs and destroy our ability to obtain good health care.
