I hope they keep arguing about this so called healthcare bill all the way until 2010 when they become lame ducks. This bill is just a giant socialist power grab and has nothing to do with access to health care insurance.

No schitt!! The only access these socialist powergrabbers want is access to your wallet. Time to get rid of ALL these jerkoffs.

More silly haggling from our elected leaders.

Everyone seems to agree that we need health care reform.

Abortion is an explosive issue.

It's hobbling health care reform.

Why don't we leave it as it is and move forward, that way we can get something positive accomplished.

This issue has been around for decades...why not let it wait a little longer...it's not going to make the sky fall down if we attach something later on.

Personally, I'm against abortion unless it's a case of rape. It comes down to social responsibility for me: if rod A goes into slot B then the outcome could be child C. You make your bed, you sleep in it, simple as that. For me it's not about rights or morality or whatever, its about living with the consequences of your own actions...something my generation doesn't seem to comprehend.

Capuano has been harassing me with his robot telephone calls. ANYONE that I get these calls from will NOT get my vote. It's why I didn't vote for Jim Ogonowski. I don't care who they are or what they're lying about, they will be off my list.

Well, that and the fact that Jim Ogonowski never actually ran for office...

I guess that becoming Teddy number two is more important than moral virtues. Maybe he will also get a proper Catholic burial. I can't see paying money out of my pocket to support somebody that can't control themselves. I agree that in the case of rape we are looking at something different, but it is still a child.

It's not alright with me. Anyone who has a machine call me will not get my vote. After the way Coakley handled the student housing thing at ULowell, I think she is pathetic.

Actually, hoax isn't too far off the mark.

He couldn't manage to get his paperwork in on time, so he was never actually on the ballot. Does kind of sound like a scam...."Ya, that's right....I'll run for Senate, just send in a check...."

Actually, I know he wasn't being dishonest...just incompetant.

I think abortion is too sensitive an issue to be funded from the general pool.

If you're pro-choice, donate your own money to a non-profit that provides abortion assistance.

You shouldn't force the entire population to fund what nearly half consider murder.

Dangerous precendent as it opens the door up to other programs not being funded on moral grounds but overall I'd say this issue is just too hot to force everyone to fund it.
