The Luther Fire Dept. started the latest round of fires for job security. The Dept. planned to lay off five firefighters by the end of summer, so they started the fire so they could put it out.
No shocker there, since this kind of opportunistic exploitation of tragedy has been taking place throughout history. Profiteers are made through disasters.
The black pickup truck with red lettering stickers belongs to one of the firemen who was seen driving around the area prior to lighting the newspaper.
Of course my earlier post should ask, which fire you talking about since we had several at the same time. I was however talking about the big Fire in Creek County that costs so many people including a few friends of mine their homes.

I really feel for these folks..ya know, the bystanders will say..awwww, they, the homeowners had home insurance..Am sure they do..BUT WHAT DOES one live on until then, WHERE do you live..until you rebuild...unanswered questions to tormented souls WHO have just lost everything..their homes of treasured family memories..WHAT value price can one place on that?
Sorry honey, fact is most of them did not have insurance. Insurance for the people out on the country in Oklahoma is prohibitly high because of the lack of response time to rule fire departments and the lack of fire hydrants.
They were just talking about that on Tulsa's news.
