"Brand and generic-drug manufacturers support these efforts, but are wary of proposals from the state of Washington and a California county that call for manufacturers to foot the bill for more extensive collection of leftover prescriptions." - This is a very great effort for the part of the manufacturers if they will extend a greater part in collecting leftover prescriptions.
