Here is a suggestion

United States

Move away. Far, far away. You pick up on one nonsense idea as quickly as the state slams the door shut on your previous one. Now, suddenly, your answer to all our woes is tapping into excess fiber optic capacity. Nope! Won't benefit us in the least, because we have no other businesses on the ground that even recognize what that is, let alone have the need for it. Here a lightning bolt from the sky, butt-monkey: Get a job. Then and only then can you make valid suggestions for "improving" the year-round character of a town you moved to willingly. Once you actually enter the workforce, you will have some idea of what work is, and what will and will not work in a mountain economy. Why don't you move to Alaska coastal towns and tell them to develop a year-round economy? They would slap you silly as fast as we who have to suffer through your endless stream of nonsense suggestions should be.

Apparently it finally hit home, or closer to home, that in order to be taken seriously, he should come out of hiding. Perhaps his therapist finally convinced him to confront his demons (incest, marriage to multiple cousins, his three arms and horn growing from his head) and admit he could indeed subscribe to an internet provider closer to his cave than West Virginia. Is there hope for a quasi-reformed animal polygamist?

Why is it your last posting says Chicago, IL.? You're too clueless to understand how it really works. Even your precious "local" ISP still sometimes has to route through what you call out of town ISP connections, but I'm sure you'll deny it says that and go on one of your mentally ill profane rants about incest and multiple limbs, rantings that sound more like your personal life history. Maybe it's you who should get a job instead of stalking the topix forums so you can just anyonomously bully people with your name calling and misdirected ravings.
Get some therapy, take your medication, and crawl back in your little hole.
You contribute nothing of value, stop wasting our time with your brain dead drivel.

respond, rather than to clamor for attention, Layette. We can post from anywhere, as we routinely demonstrate, but when we need to, we can post from Estes Park. You are unable to do so. Beckley is unable to do so. It's not about where you post from, it's about who you pay to provide your internet. You are either living outside of Estes Park, or you choose not to support Estes Park businesses. If you can demonstrate otherwise, for example, if you live in Estes Park and can post with a tag that says "Estes Park", please demonstrate. Otherwise, please go back to counting your pills and complaining about your prostate. Because this is an Estes Park forum for Estes Park people who actually live in and financially support their community, not for people blowing through who buy their groceries in Cheyenne, and certainly not for idiots living outside of Estes Park who enjoy trolling to stir up trouble because their own lives are too bereft of meaning to join a local civic organization or church or volunteer to pick up feces from the dog park.

There is no requirement, other than the one you choose to impose yourself, that one MUST live in estes to post in this forum. I live here year round for 30 plus years. many people own second homes here and live here only sometimes, by youyr standard, are they also "not allowed" to post here?

I don't care where you live or where you post from. Just don't pretend to know Estes Park if you don't live here (for example, don't deign to give us suggestions if you are not a year-round resident. If this gets your panties in a wad, think of the opposite - Suppose I was your neighbor in whatever hovel you lived in 3 months out of the year and became the voice of authority, telling you how to run your life, when to mow your lawn, plant your flowers, etc., whenever I was in the neighborhood - would this strike you as slightly ridiculous?) and just don't pretend that Estes Park doesn't have Internet Service Providers that you could use if you weren't so lazy. When the notherners moved to the south after the war and told them how to run things, they were known as carpetbaggers. Perhaps they felt like they should be able to run the show since they'd just won a war. Problem is, what war did you win to tell me how and when I can post on an Estes Park forum, which is, after all, what this comment section is intended for. If you want to post on the Fort Collins forum on this topic, by all means do so. But leave the people who live in Estes Park year round and support Estes Park businesses year round alone.

It's best not to feed the troll.
Beckley back in his cave

Beckley has returned to hiding. It was too good to be true, he saw the sun and shrank back in horror. His latest wife, who is called "Porcupine" because she (he?) is indeed a porcupine, hissed and shot quills into his voluminous ass. Then he donned a dirty baseball cap and wandered into the street, begging Estes Park to develop a unicycle plant run by a nuclear reactor, as that was the only thing that could create year around jobs, besides the year around "happy jobs" he handed out near the park entrance in exchange for cigarettes or warm gloves.
