Congrats to Rand Paul and the Tea Party and Thank You to everyone that is doing whatever you can to take back our country from the corrupt thieves that have harmed this Great country. Stay strong, be observant and fight with your heart, we can do this!

Careful what you wish for. GW was supposed to be a "compassionate conservative". Instead what we got was a war mongering imbecile.

I'm not disagreeing with your comments but if he was such an imbecile how was he able to hoodwink the democrats to vote for you his programs?

Specter was toast against Pat Toomey; he was losing in poll averages by 7.3%. Among likely voters, the margin was about 10%.

Sestak at least has a chance, trailing by 3.5% among likely voters.

Specter sure pooped in his food dish on this one. I doubt anybody will regret seeing this craven fossil out of power and taking his great-great-grandchildren fishing instead.

As the article noted, the surprises cut both ways, so neither party should become overconfident.

Of course, mere facts won't stop them.

You figure he's named after Ayn Rand? A kind of objectivist version of a tea partier? She definitely liked to party. lol

Watch it ... I wanted to be Dominique Francon (with my own newspaper column in a big, slighty downscale NYC daily) after reading "The Fountainhead" in high school. Ayn was fun ... while it lasted. And don't all Russians like a party?
