Oh, sweet irony. Let's recap the situation, shall we?

Mark Foley (R) resigns his seat after it's revealed he "sent lurid Internet messages to male teenage pages who had worked on Capitol Hill".

Tim Mahoney (D) wins the seat, "promising to return morals to Washington".

Mahoney, married with one child, has an affair with a staffer and pays her over $100,000 in 'hush money'.

"Foley was cleared of criminal wrongdoing by state and federal authorities."

Cache this story because it will not get any further than the "investigation" proposed by Nancy Pelosi. Let's see if Mahoney gets the grilling and 24/7 coverage that Foley received.

And these Congresscritters wonder why they have an approval rating of around 9%.

BTW, this story was available on a blog a month ago. http://gatewaypundit.blogspot.com/2008/10/dem...

Tim Mahoney, is another typical congressman who robs the public.

No trust. No morals.

Vote the guy out.

Yep, no wonder why congress' approval rate is so low.

The opposing candidate, Rooney, has a powerful, wealthy background. And is a lawyer.

But the guy did work for The Children's Place on yucky Ponce De Leon Avenue in West Palm Beach. A bad area, but an organization for neglected children.

The reason it's not a story is because when a democrat lies and freaks over a woman and misuses public money, that is not an aberation.

Maybe it as only oral sex, like in Clinton's case, thus, it's not sex. And the morally-pure congressman was only loaning her the money to go look for another job. Maybe he could go work for the former Governor of New York, or Bill Clinton, they have a lot in common besides being common.

The Miami Herald endorsed Twice convicted Raul Martinez for congress yesterday. Maybe he can take Mahoney's place and start taking real bribes in Washington.

You forgot one thing. It is the Republicans who always claim to be the party that supports family values.

Chicago Democrat Rahm Emmanuel has known about this for a year, and was attempting to cover it up with Pelosi's help.

Get used to this folks, it's the view of things to come.

Here's your DEMOCRAT Congress folks...WORST CONGRESS EVER!

1. Barney Frank(MA): DEMOCRAT who chairs the House Banking Committee. Said his primary objective as Chair was to ensure that ALL poor people who wanted a home, could qualify for a loan.

Thanks for all you did Barney, but you forgot that the loans would have to be paid back.

2. Nancy Pelosi(CA): DEMOCRAT Speaker of the House. She is responsible for filling FISCAL OVERSIGHT positions in Congress.

When asked by reporters if congressional democrats bore some responsibility for the collapse, she was clear in her one-word reply --- "NO!"

That's all she said.

3. Harry Reid(NV): DEMOCRAT Majority Leader in the United States Senate. When asked by reporters what the Senate will do replied THAT HE DIDN'T KNOW WHAT TO DO!!(see below)

Associated Press (September 18, 2008) Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, asked today what new regulatory actions Congress can take, said, bluntly,“No one knows what to do. We are in new territory here. This is a different game. We’re not here playing soccer, basketball or football, this is a new game and we’re going to have to figure out how to do it.”

There's your DEMOCRAT CONTROLLED CONGRESS FOLKS!

The 109th and 110th democrat-controlled Congress. The LOWEST approval ratings in polling HISTORY!

Worst Congress EVER (and this time it's true)!

I wonder how much of our taxes go to pay for "hush money" and prostitutes? It's really not a partisan issue, as both sides are clearly having a party on the taxpayers dime.

Where's the photo-op where he trots out his wife before the press to confess his naughty deeds and ask for forgiveness? I'm waiting.

This story is the most obvious example of the bias in our media today. two years ago you couldn't blink without seeing the foley scandal right before the election, now we have another similar scandal and this time nothing you have to hunt to find the story. It's obvious that the media wants to hide this because it's a democrat. personally i don't care what party you associate with cause when they commit these acts they should be brought out but at least media have some sense of dignity and report somewhat evenly this should be given the same air time foley was. or is this just like with anything negative about obama. instantly hushed and laughed about as if the truth is a joke and swept under the rug until after the election

There must be something in the water in this Florida Congressional District. Tim Mahoney's predecessor Mark Foley was caught chasing male pages. And now Mahoney, in the Bill Clinton tradition, is caught with two mistresses. How many more are out there. Some of elected officials really run wild when they get to Washington.

.
The old time democrats like JFK had taste and had affairs with women like Marilyn Monore. Modern deomcrats like Clinton, Henry Cisneros and Mahoney have affairs with old or ugly trailor trash. There poor judgement in women make them unfit to rule.

You've got that right! Elected officials on both sides of the aisle, along with lobbyists and Wall street, having a big old non-stop lurid party funded by the chumps of the USA, you and me, the regular taxpayers.

You can scream about democrats, and you can whine about Republicans, but I'll put it a different way:

The generation in power now is the WORST GENERATION EVER.

Mr. Mahoney stated yesterday that he never broke any laws. Have you ever heard of the 10 commandments?

How were all of these people raised to be such selfish liars? Seems like there are two things that the crowd in charge knows how to do: Serve themselves, and look you square in the eye and lie to you.

Democrat or GOP, Left or Right or Mod, they all do the same thing: They lie straight to your face.

If their parents are still alive, they must be overcome with shame. The same people who won WWII couldn't raise honorable children.

And isn't that convenient? That gives Democrats carte-blanche to do anything - since they never claim to have any values.
