Let's get a new President and a new Congress.

Throw all the bums out and start over.

Cut their pensions and healthcare too.

We need term limits desperately.

The real problem now in the Congress, which is more interested in playing politics than in helping get people back to work. We've seen that again and again.

I'd just as soon see these cuts happen.
The US military will havwe to cut back, and we as a nation will simply not allow ourselves to become defenseless.

The real story is, inadvertantly, revealed in the headline. Many of these "DEFENSE CONTRACTS" are just make-woerk projects for the varous Congressmen to bring home the bacon, at the cost of the US Treasury.

Let us cut them back to essentials, and stop this SUPER-Welfare phony "defense" program. The money is better spent buying back US Debt, or putting Americans to work rebuilding our national infrastructure.

So get rid of them.

Pelosi and ried did the same thing to Bush. Reagan worked with O'neill. Clinton worked with Gingrich.

Republicans are getting rid of their corruptocrats, why can't the Dems?

STOP MAKING EXCUSES FOR THEM

Half of the Congressional Black caucus should be in jail with jon corzine.

Neither racist stupidity, nor faulty comparisons add to this real discuuion.

The present GOP Congress refuses to govern, refuses to act, refuses to 'work with' anyone....even their own leader, Mr. Bohner.

Neither did the totally controlled Democratic congress and Dem president with each other. Whatever their goals, they wasted it and have set in motion a disjointed nation with only backdoor civil rights issues as a positive to their voters after the 2010 elections. That in itself means don't trust them anymore. Not because of the issues being right or wrong, but because they did it knowing their demise. No guts to pass the laws whne they they took charge means that if we become impoverished, the Hatfields and McCoys will be our reward. Evil! And those tea party Repubs were supposed to help bring freedom back by eliminating Homeland Security, Patriot Acts and other laws. They are gleeful with the Dems voting more tyranny in.

How about the defense department stops hiring mercenaries "security contractors" from private companies. Somehow spending $400,00 a mercenary of which the actual mercenary gets from the company if about $100,00 to $125,00 a year just makes no sense.
A fresh recruit in the US Military between costs of training, housing, and salary does not even cost half that amount.
Cut out all the private contractors in the mess hall, grounds keeping, and so on. Back in the day if I got in trouble on post I got put on KP, where in the chow hall the cooks, dishwashers, servers, and janitors were all military and not private contractors. The people mowing the grass and painting buildings and so on at the base were also all military.
If there is a war these people would all take up their rifles and special skill set and be depolyed. Bet a private contractor cook making $80,000 at the chow hall will not go fight.
