South Euclid Mayor Georgine Welo drops bid for county executive position
Mayor Georgine Welo, stating, "I've got work to do here and I'm going to stay and make sure it gets done," announced today that she was ending her bid to become the county's first executive under the new county council form of government.

Dear Ms. Welo:
Stop making poor financial decisions on behalf of the residents of South Euclid and then expect us to pay for them by eliminating the resident tax credit.
The County Executive position would have required some tough decisions which I believe you are incapable of making.
Make things right for South Euclid and stop dreaming.
