Hafa Adai Rep. M. Bordallo,
Just wanted to see if you can touch bases with Sen. Inouye & The Armed Services Committee in reference to Bill S.58 - A Bill to amend title 10, USC, to permit former members of the Armed Forces, who have a Service-Connected disability rated as Total, to travel on military aircrafts in the same manner and to the same extent as retired members of the Armed Forces are entitled to travel on such aircrafts. This bill has been introduced since 2003, shuffled around back in January 2005, and just wondering if it is stacked in a pile with other Bills and put on the "back burner" to collect dust?
This would really help a lot of veterans who are from Guam and now live in the states, to travel at a very cheap rate and who can afford to wait, since they have the time and not all the money in the world.
