Congressman Reyes is a veteran of combat in Viet Nam. He was a gunner on a helicopter when most of you cowards were home sitting on your butts. America does not torture. You idiots would be happy lowering the standards of the U.S. to those of the Nazis or today's terrorists. Cong. Reyes is a hero.
Yep, flew with John Kerry; another wonder hero...

Geneva Convention says the US will not torture. The US willingly decided to enter that agreement yet now we are torturers.

Granted those terrorists (the ones who are proven) need some serious terror to see what it is like...fact remains the US is in violation of international laws that it entered into by torturing.

So Reyes' anti torture law is only a duplicate of something the US had already agreed to after WWII: Geneva Convention

Lets see, "torture"? Having to put up with Reyes for another term when uninformed, uneducated voters push that "straight Democrat" button and keep reelecting this ***hole.

“Should any American soldier be so base and infamous as to injure any [prisoner]. . . I do most earnestly enjoin you to bring him to such severe and exemplary punishment as the enormity of the crime may require. Should it extend to death itself, it will not be disproportional to its guilt at such a time and in such a cause… for by such conduct they bring shame, disgrace and ruin to themselves and their country.” - George Washington, charge to the Northern Expeditionary Force, Sept. 14, 1775...

Totally agree.
He really pissed me off when he turned the Fort Bliss Cemetery into a desert landscape.
My father is buried there and deserves some nice green grass.
It used to be a very beautiful and serene place, but not any more.
Reyes is an @$$hole if I ever saw one.
