We don't need immigration reform. We need enforcement of our current immigration laws. That should be clear to every breathing, thinking American who loves the USA and our Constitution.

Immigration reform is a euphemism for totally open borders and the ruin of our country.

If you think the fight over Nationalizing Health Care was bitter next year we can expect fist fights to break out inside the halls of Congress. With the Health care debate slipping into early next year, the immigration debate will slip closer to the election. I can't wait to see the congressional turnover if any form of amnesty is being debated or has been slammed down the throats of the American electorate. Should be a fun year.

Amnesty was a failed program in the Reagan era 1986, it is not smart to do this dog and pony show again. I think that an illegal alien should always be an illegal alien until such a time as they fhey return to their country of origin and apply to enter legally. Give the illegal aliens a card which states they are guest workers. You do not come into my home uninvited and expect me to care for you.A new poll indicates that nearly three-quarters of Americans are not happy with the national state of illegal immigration.

The CNN/Opinion Research Corporation survey concluded that 73% of American favor a drop in the number of illegal immigrants. Almost a quarter of respondents, 22%, indicated that current levels were acceptable, and 3% favored an increase in illegal immigration.

According to CNN, the 73% result is the highest in the four years the company has been asking this question.

Further, the poll found that 37% of respondents want to see all illegal immigrants deported, and 23% believe that the number of undocumented immigrants should be lowered significantly.

Per CNN, 1,038 adult Americans were polled via telephone from Oct. 16-18. The margin for error is plus or minus 3 percent.

CNN POLL: 2 OF 3 AMERICANS WANT IMMIGRANTS LEGALIZED, NOT DEPORTED

CNN Poll: 37% of Americans want “all illegal immigrants currently in the country removed”—

When pollsters actually do thorough job polling on immigration, however, they consistently find strong support for comprehensive reform. A May poll conducted by the Benenson Strategy Group found that 75% of Americans supported Congressional action on immigration, and 68% supported a path to legalization for the undocumented.

Even amongst Republican and Swing voters, support for comprehensive reform is sky-high. In a recent survey of Independent Voters, even tough economic questions revealed support for reform:

When asked whether “We would be better off if people who are in the United States illegally became legal taxpayers so they pay their fair share,” or “We would be better off if people who are in the United States illegally left the country because they are taking away jobs that Americans need,” 68% of Independents agreed with the former statement while 29% chose the later.

When pollsters ask simplistic questions about whether people favor “illegal” immigration, the only thing to learn is that Americans think the current immigration system is broken, and they want to see it fixed, soon.

We need immigration reform not amnesty. We need reforms that speed up the deportation process. We need reforms that penalize the illegal aliens and those that aid them severely. We need reforms that add extra penalties for those illegal aliens that commit crimes such as identity theft and tax evasion.

When CNN conduts a poll, they pposs their own low-level employees who fear losing their jobs. CNN's numbers are dropping fast! Dobbs is the only show worthy of my time.

Daily Horoscope for December 15

Virgo

You're in a very sensitive frame of mind today and are acutely aware of what other people are going through. So if someone is having a bad time, you'll want to do what you can to help. However, it's important to accept that you may not be able to do a single thing. If you persist in trying to help, it will be because you're uncomfortable with the situation and want to feel better.
