S. Fla. congressional delegation travels to Haiti

Five members of South Florida's congressional delegation will travel to Haiti to discuss hurricane preparation, immigration policy and security issues with Haitian President Rene Preval.

Haitians are a good people who thrive and help this country. Did you know that a haitian named Point Du Sable founded Chicago? Did you know that haitians fought in Savana? Did you know about Web Dubois and many others who contributed so much for this country? Haitians deserve to be treated equally. How did you feel about the victims of hurricane Katrina? How would you feel if you were the dad in Gonaives holding his own dead baby after the hurricane. It is good to try to put yourself in someone's situation.
