I disagree with the pew findings in this article, Illegal Immigration is the number one problem in US. This is the real reason there are no jobs for tens of millions legal US citizens. 50,000,000 Illegals have sucked every state, county and city into bankruptsy. And who is forced to pay for their FREE: Housing, Welfare, Med, Shooling, College, Hosp care, Unemployment, Social Security, Heating oil and Utilities.

all these things rewarding illegal aliens are ruining it for all others who actually deserve it.

we need here is to treat illegal aliens the same way their homeland has treated illegal aliens caught there, that way there can be no whinging of discrimination all treated as they would be at home for the same reason.

As long as we enable Mexico to dump their poor and uneducated on us nothing will change.

Mexico needs to be responsible for their own citizens who only come here for the benefits

Chain migration will continue if military service gets citizenship. Amazing we promote this when we are drawing down in Afghanistan & Iraq.

The president is cutting military funding.

This is just more amnesty. Besides our military is too big already. No need for america to have military bases all over the world.

. I state only the facts Barry, if you did you homework and acually visited any Comm or residentual Construction jobsight you would understand. Companies hiring Illegals is a massive and SAD trend that has been going on to long. This is the real reason unemployment still continues to stay high, and it will only get worse. This the real reason no state can balance their budgets. This is the real reason our taxes go up every year. Thanks to the current president policies being implemented this problem has tripled in three years. Unfortuanately you won't hear those facts on Gov controlled TV and radio. Don't worry Barry, the US is very close to a second Great Depression, all due to the destruction from Illegals. Are you prepared!

the facts:
#1 you stated that there are 50 million illegals in our country. maybe you miss-spoke?
#2 the fact is that our population runs somewhere between 300-350million. unless of course you have a better fact.

that would make 1 out of every 6 or 7 people here in our great country an illegal. just stating the facts.

now the reality is that construction job sites don't a country make. the other reality is that there are not 50 million illegals in our country.
so either you are confused, miss-spoke or are deliberately distorting the argument. which of course then would discredit anything else you would try to present to us.

You are the one with the misinformation barry. Our government has been saying there are 11 million illegals in this country for what at least the last 20 years??? So stating there are 50 million illegals is a much more accurate number.

are you and teepee cousins? your argument is based on an opinion and a random number of 20 years? you would need to back it up with some sort of a reliable source.

hispanics only make up about 16% of our population. that makes about 51 million of them here. you do realize that hispanics have historically been here since the inception of our great country, that several states in the beginning had more hispanics than european people, and that there exist many hispanics that have been here for generations. almost half of all hispanics among us live in california or texas. new mexico is almost 50% hispanic.

therefor unless you can make an argument for there being about 30 million or more non hispanic illegals here than your opinion does not hold water. and if it was true than our biggest problem is not an unsecured border.

work on your facts as well as your logic and then maybe you might have something to add to the debate.
