I am glad they have there fake info. If immigration reform does happen. They'll be easier to find. Then again, they might head to fed ex kinko's for their new false document's. We are talking about criminals.

In order to fix the economy we need jobs. Illegals will be deported soon enough. These people are Mexico's responsibilities.Mexico will no longer find it so easy to export their poor.

I take it you never actually studied economics.

If 11M people were deported that would mean millions of vacant housing units which would drive the housing market back into the ground.

We probably would pick-up some landscaping and bus boy jobs, but a lose of 3% of the population would cost us millions of higher quality jobs in retail sales, transportation and anything else you can think of.

On top of that, undocumented or not, they are all taxpayers. Who do you think picks-up the tab for that?

When we no longer have U.S. Citizens and Veterans living "on the streets" your claim may have some merit.

If millions of low end housing units are were to open up due to deportations it would not affect American home owners but it would cause a drop in the cost of housing for millions of poor Americans who rent. Slum lords who rent to illegal aliens would be a bit upset since they would be forced to decrease rents and/or improve their properties in order to deal with the more competitive market. Of course if millions of illegal aliens were to leave the country the resulting decrease in the supply of labor would increase wages for those Americans on the bottom of the economic ladder as well as decreasing their housing costs. It is true that with the increase in wage costs and the decrease in consumption cause by the departure of illegal aliens there would be a decrease in the over all economic base, even with the billions of dollars in remittances not leaving the country each yea,r it would also increase the quality of life for the poorest Americans and decrease the profits of the richest Americans all without the government having to “redistribute the wealth”.

he really is delusional. Illegals drive down wages that means less taxes. Get rid of them and the greedy bastards who once hired them will have no choice but to pay Americans a much better wage that thier greedy asses can afford and that equals more taxes and a better life for Americans. Not to mention no crowded school no more building a new school every year with tax payers money to keep up with the huge anchor baby population no more crowded hospitals less crime. I could go on and on. In no way are illegals good for all Americans just greedy employers.

You are such an economic expert. I am surprised I did not see you over here in Tokyo at the IMF meetings.

I don't have time for a vacation like that. When I travel outside of the U.S. it is for business. Besides I always find Tokyo too crowded and it is such a long trip.

Hmm. Sounds like somebody did not get an invitation to the IMF meetings. That has got to be tough for an eminent economist such as yourself. Maybe the invitation just got lost in the mail.

We're building schools left and right here in NC. They say it's due to the population growth. Everybody knows what that means! I wonder how much longer the taxpayers are gonna keep throwing money at this problem? Are we just gonna keep accommodating the masses? When does it end?
