thank you harry reid...
without YOU shelving almost 2 dozen house passed bills aimed at helping the job market, none of this would be possible.

of course, you've ALL read, or, heard about this from the mainstream media...haven't you????

oh, no, that's right, the media is far too interested in REALLY important stuff, like, what any given gop candidate would do if their son was gay...

Shhhhhh

The author of this article doesn't want anyone to discuss those illegal invaders who "do work that Americans won't do" like construction, hotel maintenance, fast food restaurants, day laborers etc. You know, those jobs that TEENAGERS held before the illegal invasion. The "entry level positions" have not been "taken over by computers" but by people who should not be here in the first place.

Send the illegals packing. Hire American teenagers to replace them at entry level. It's likely that the teenagers who really want to work will show some initiative and incentive and advance in the business once they learn the ropes. This is the way it was done a generation ago and the concept still stands.

We do some part time hiring in the summer, our busy season, and while school is out, but when they show up with their hats on sideways, and their pants down to their knees, showing their crusty undies, we don't hire them.

That's odd, illegal immigrats, who don't even have the benefit of education or English, seem to have no trouble finding entry level jobs.

Well, if a teenager stands on the side of the street with their pants down to their knees, someone will eventually drive up and offer them cash in exchange for a temporary gig.
"Hey, sweetheart! I've got your stimulus package right here."

If elected in 2012, I wouldn't expect (or want) Romney to initiate a program to replace lost summer jobs, but the realization by many Americans that government created jobs have no permanency will no doubt cause voters who previously supported Obama to re-prioritize how the see the issues.
Government can't provide you with a sustainable income, but government can spend to much money and tax your income. That $1,500 you earned from a summer job back in 2010 will cost you $5,000 in taxes over your lifetime or get handed down in the form of debt to your children. That's the spin that Romney needs to put on the situation. He should shift the debate to fiscal responsibility and private sector job growth.

?? How can any republican shift to fiscal responsibility until after they repudiate the "starve the beast" policies of the last 30 years?

Yes Of Course..add that to the MIX,along with those who are not looking, the UNEMPLOYMENT numbers are extremely high!..Were any reduction in unemployment benefits...the reaction would be two fold...a MASS number of people in Poverty, and a huge swelling of people in the streets..For there are no more AMERICAN JOBS!..Kinnda like Greece...

Do not think a new administration will change this...its gonna take time...a long time...Obamas damage is far reaching!

Hold yer breath tho...EUROPE,STRAIGHTS of HORMUZ,Mid East,China, and Russia!..All smelling BLOOD,a WEAK AMERICA!!...any fluctuation in this and its ..Gotterdammerung..for Americans!!!..Not a pleasant out look!!

it will be then LOONs will be throw into the garbage heap ofv incompetence, and madness!,The EPA eliminated, and America will go on a MAX EFFORT to become energy independent, and create jobs!....This GREEN Crap is to far in the RED!..Like Pres. Kennedy took us to the MOON,OBAMA is taking us to HELL!

But if Americans continue this path,by electing OBAMA again????ALLS KAPUT

Truly he is GOD DAMMING AMERICA into a Dead Beat ,Third World,Broke, without credit, spending more that the very nation is worth.....OTHER THAN THAT??....WHAT COULD HAPPEN?And that's the rub!!...NO BODY KNOWS!!

Well we've tried "Feeding The Beast" and that hadn't worked to lower budget deficits either. What we need to do is "Kill The Beast", or staple some stints in it's stomach, so it's not so damn hungry.
There's a talking point. Go with it, Mitt.

They're bills that create a jobs-friendly environment. Keep pretending you didn't know that; at least I hope you're pretending.
