Updated at 9 p.m. FORT HOOD, Texas - An Army psychiatrist set to be shipped overseas opened fire at the Fort Hood Army post Thursday, authorities said, a rampage that killed 12 people and left 31 wounded in the worst mass shooting ever at a military base in the United States.

the combination of being a trained killer AND a psychiatrist trained to make sense of killing would drive anyone mad.

The USA war machine is screwing up many minds .. 1/5 of troops coming home obviously have bent minds .. we will suffer this mess for many decades.. thanks Dick Cheney
