I hope you not of the opinion that the places where you ran your errands speaks for the entire country because that is not what other people are saying in other states and that includes a whole lot of conservative groups who are in favor of immigration reform and an eventual path to citizenship for some of the 11 million who passes a criminal background check pay a fine and back taxes etc.

Reality Re-check, I've been talking to people from three states, Wisconsin, Illinois and Indiana from all economical status....all are hurting in one way or another mostly due too the taxation, increase cost of everything from gas, utilities to food.
Met some at grocery stores,Fruit markets ,Post Office , etc. A few whites, many Hispanics and AA's.

Bottom-line: People are waking -up/becoming aware/informed as to what is happening to our economy~ Obama's America.

Report: Senate immigration bill includes nearly $300 million in slush funds for immigrants' rights groups, in language drafted by the former policy chief for one such organization

The National Council of La Raza is likely to benefit from grant money set aside in an immigration bill drafted by its former policy director
Legislation passed in the Senate would exclude three-time DUI offenders from a path to citizenship, but two-time drunk drivers would be acceptable
Passport forgers would no longer be prosecuted for making a single fake travel document, with the bar being set at three
Document counterfeiters whose materials are used to obtain passports would only be jailed if they contributed to at least 10 phony passports

Meet America's illegal re-entry superstars!

Immigration

By: Dave Gibson
The Mexican national had already been deported five times, with his last removal in coming August 2009. Over the last several years, he has been convicted of 24 criminal charges, including robbery, larceny and cocaine distribution.

According to U.S. Attorney Neil MacBride, "Each time he turned right back around and unlawfully reentered the country, once within a matter of days. Seemingly, his only purpose here has been to violate our laws and terrorize our citizens."

There not friends dear. They are people I talk to while go about my business. Illegals take jobs that a fact, from those less educated, but they are also making it harder for those with Degrees to stay working or want to work. Too much taxation/fees is the point.

Americans want their jobs back and many/many want to go back to work desperately. They are use to working. But, with illegals holding their jobs and the massive cost they incur on the taxpayers/those cities/States declared Sanctuary... along with Obama's policies, regulations and now this massive healthcare program is making it/will continue to make it difficult. There is only so much you can squeeze out of a taxpayer.

Detect/detain and deport/enforce our Immigration Laws.
Go live in a Sanctuary city/State... you will feel the strangled hold these Politician have on the taxpayers while Illegals go about their business living/taking/stealing from us. and u will understand where I am coming from.

They're not going to background check anyone. They've already said they're not going to collect back taxes. The exploiters all want the amnesty because it will benefit them. Average Americans don't want it because it will depress their wages, raise their taxes and lower their quality of life.
