For Mr. Stone to comment in his political campaign that "This country having the most oil" is amazing. He is not properly informed on this issue at all. How could he possibly mislead the people with this statement? I employ him to really learn the facts, not exaggerated speculation. This is just scarry considering what we are facing in this country.

With the urgency in your post I implore you to state the facts that you so emphatically "know". What standard of measurement will you accept when "new oil deposit discoveries" or new techniques are developed to extricate the oil? Where is your threshold of acceptable use of oil?
If you choose to not partake of the bountiful resource, petroleum for there is more proven oil reserves now than in the 1970’s, then why do you insist on inflationary policies? By denying the oil industry access to the oil fields you are contributing to your fellow citizens declining standard of living! Where is your compassion for the poor? What of the old and poor people in the northeast whose use of heating oil they depend on for heat in the bitter cold of winter?
