I have read there are many people who would rather have what's called "specific performance" [legal terminology] of their treaties, rather than apologies for the USA having broken them.

One can only wonder what would have become of the New World had there been a movement among the Native Americans to round up, arres,t imprison and deport all of the illegal Old World immigrants. Or what if the Native Americans had been hostile and better organized against the foreign human deluge which swept over them? This will not likely go anywhere because too many Americans believe in a distorted one sided view of American history based upon manifest destiny and white supremacy. Where those who have benefited from the sins/crimes of others deny that there were any sins or that they did not sin or that they benefit from sin. Meritocracy is a deeply rooted American myth that rest on a clear racist blind premise.

Daily Horoscope for January 7

Cancer

You feel the urge to move onward, powered by your wisdom: when you're right, you're right. You may feel that any further explanation is unnecessary, but the people you're dealing with might need it spelled out for them. Take the time to draw a picture or use smaller vocabulary words to get your point across, Cancer. A public demonstration will probably prove to be the last word on the subject.
