Jockeying for U.S. marshal of Minnesota begins

Former St. Paul Police Chief William Finney is one of a handful of candidates for U.S. marshal of Minnesota and is in the mix of law enforcement brass considering a run for Ramsey County sheriff.

I am glad to see Finney's name back in the mix. St. Paul has missed him and we had 12 great years while he was our police chief. All of the mud slinging from the Fletcher, Naylon and Rehak followers won't work this time. Name one person more qualified and with more credentials than Finney for this job?

I have known Chief Finney socailly for a little more then a year, and in my lengthy conversations with him he comes across as a dedicated and trustworth individual with sound judgement.

Those are things I can not say of the upper 1/3 of the current Ramsey County Sheriff's office under Fletcher.
