That is what Minnesota needs, another political lifer as Governor. Here's thought: why don't we elect someone who is savvy in business and not a career lawyer or politcal lacky...Just a thougt.

Jim Ramstad is not the normal career politician. He's intelligent, trustworthy, and not a crazy ideologue ... and he can't be bought by special interests. I'd be delighted to see him in the governor's chair.

Mr. Ramstad:

Pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeese run -- for Attorney General. Even DFLers don't like Lori Swanson. You'd win in a walk.

I guess I wonder why you claim he can't be bought by special interests since he did nothing but support special interests his whole time in congress.

The problem with the Rammer is he's never quite figured out what he stands for. That's ok if you're going to be a manager at SuperAmerica, but not if you're going to govern and make decisions about the state's priorities.

We had that chance with Brian Sullivan but he decided, rightly, that we don't deserve him.

Who else does the MN GOP have? Marty? Ho-ho-ho. Kline is so wrapped up in not being a RINO, he's not serving his district properly. Michele? Michele??! Heavens, that would produce lots of fireworks ... and a sure GOP loss. Besides, Michele seems pretty comfortable doing what she's doing. Tim only won with a plurality last time out ... not a majority. The GOP has to come up with someone electable first before they can even think of governing properly.

I think Jim is a reasonable man who would serve this state well. I am not big on career politicians, but when they run for different posts I believe it is a challenge that keeps them tuned in with the will of the people.

Go Jim go. You are one of the few sane and honest people who have held office. We can use you to help return the state of MN to reasonableness. It just keeps looking like CA politics all the time. Thanks for your service.

If Ramstad runs I hope he realizes the bulk of Minnesota voters are of an independent vent and do not take part in the extreme elements that exist in BOTH party's.

Those at the extremes enjoy the greatest leverage. Mechanical engineering 101.
