Obama spending on attack ads soars

President Barack Obama's campaign has spent nearly $100 million on television commercials in selected battleground states so far, unleashing a sustained early barrage designed to create lasting, negative impressions of Republican Mitt Romney before he and his allies ramp up for the fall.

But the Obama camp is counting on those 95% who will vote for him regardless of what he says or does, those to whom he's been pandering in the past few weeks, and the ignorant among us who just say "onward through the fog" -- not even knowing what's going on.

He's the most dispicable president of my lifetime. Makes me wish for Nixon, who was very smart but covered up lies; or perhaps Carter, who wasn't so competent, but was honest. At least they had some redeeming qualities.
