Replacing this existing bridge for 13 Million at this time is criminal. This bridge was just earthquake re-enforsed several years also for the tune of several million. So what if it even fell down, its not over a lake or river, its a circle for gods sake. With all the small businesses hurting there are many ways to to help this economy rather than give it to the over inflated Cal Trans to squander on something that is not needed.
