On nytimes.com, Pulitzer Prize-winning columnist Nicholas Kristof broke news of The Humane Society of the United States' latest undercover investigation focused on industrial agriculture-a large-scale, battery cage facility for hens in Manheim, Pa., that produces 1.6 million eggs a day.
