Nobody is calling for vigilante justice. They're calling for Burris to do the right and honorable thing for the people he supposedly represents. Burris seems like he doesn't even know the concept of morals and ethics.

Roland Burris is legally entitled to his seat, no one is saying he is not. What many in Illinois myself included are saying is Burris can not claim the high road after coming to office with the taint of our disgraced former governor. Many people want him to resign so he can regain the reputation of honesty he enjoyed in his many years of public service. It is entirely his choice as to whether wants the office at the cost of his reputation, or his reputation.
