Imagine for a minute a corporation with a 3 Trillion Dollar Budget and as much corruption as exists in the US Congress...

if the average Joe and Jane Sixpack really knew the extent of government corruption and graft in this country, the sound of gallows being built and trapdoors being tested would be deafening.

It's obvious, the bankers on Wall St. want to do a character assasination on Marcy. She's becoming a threat to their interests.
Don't buy it America. Marcy Kaptur is one of the good guys/gals, She has become a threat to the people from Wall St. who call the shots in Washington. They are after her. We must go after the banksters!
Change campaign laws now! Create a system that doesn't require wheel barrows full of money to get elected to office. Level the playing field for the average American

Dozens in Congress Under Ethics Inquiry
House ethics investigators have been scrutinizing the activities of more than 30 lawmakers and several aides in inquiries about issues including defense lobbying and corporate influence peddling, according to a confidential House ethics committee report prepared in July. The report appears to have been inadvertently placed on a publicly accessible computer network, and it was provided to The Washington Post by a source not connected to the congressional investigations. The committee said Thursday night that the document was released by a low-level staffer.

Because they are Democrats, the NYTimes is not publishing the names. Now if they were CIA operatives, that would be different (unless the operatives were trashing Bush, in which case the NYT would revert to cover-up status).

The names included three lawmakers previously identified in the inquiry: the chairman of the defense subcommittee, Rep. John Murtha, D-Pa.; and Reps. Peter Visclosky, D-Ind., and James Moran, D-Va.

The Post said others whose names were in the report included Reps. Norm Dicks, D-Wash., Marcy Kaptur, D-Ohio, C.W. Bill Young, R-Fla., and Todd Tiahrt, R-Kan.

This is another job best handled by Mitch Rapp.

20 state leaders pay up tax bills

Former gubernatorial aide Charles O'Byrne isn't the only prominent New Yorker with a history of tax troubles.

Twenty members of the current state Legislature have over the years been hit with state tax warrants, similar to liens, for more than $52,000 in unpaid taxes, interest and penalties, according to state records covering the past two decades obtained under the Freedom of Information law.

Additionally, former lawmakers have owed more than $62,000.

In October, O'Byrne admitted to paying more than $293,000 in state and federal back taxes and interest. He quit his post as Gov. David Paterson's top adviser after his debts came to light.

While all the sitting legislators' tax bills have been settled, payments didn't come before the politicians were listed in state documents as facing tax warrants.

Many lawmakers who received warrants pointed to confusion and mix-ups, often regarding their own employment outside of the state.(Lawmakers in both the state Senate and Assembly earn $79,500 plus extra stipends for special duties such as heading committees; taxes are automatically withheld from those paychecks.)

All of the lawmakers who have received warrants are Democrats, and all but one is from New York City. The lone exception: Sen. Andrea Stewart-Cousins of Yonkers.

Only the Little People pay taxes"..Leona
