I think that the Robert Little piece above is quite biased. I have never written on The Baltimore Sun cite before and I try read the Baltimore Sun online every morning. But, sometimes I do feel that the some of the postings are more of a commentary than a news article based on pure facts.
I wish that the Sun's writers would stick to the facts and put less of a 'spin' on their work. A reporter letting their feelings slip into their writing is poor workmanship. People read the Sun for fact, not to be swayed in one direction or the other.
I don't think the Sun's writers have any intention of wrong doing, but perhaps they are unaware that their writing style wreaks bias.

Seems like emotions are in high gear today.
To speak to some of the perceived shortcomings of Barack Obama, we that support him don't really consider race, ethnicity, religion or political party are not really the determining factor.
His Approach is the most important factor. After having Bush for 8 years, anyone that is ready to work with people of every race, ethnicity, religion and political party will get my vote. I voted republican before, but it is time for a change.
Unity and a willingness to compromise are key. There are good ideas from each party, but they never get passed into law because no one is willing to support the other sides legislation. We need a President that will set the right tone and example. This tone is also important with our Friends and Enemies around the world.
On the question of not having any stated positions, I recommend that you check out this section of his site:
His plans are pretty detailed, like:
Obama will cut income taxes by $1,000 for working families to offset the payroll tax they pay.
Create the American Opportunity Tax Credit: Obama will make college affordable for all Americans by creating a new American Opportunity Tax Credit. This universal and fully refundable credit will ensure that the first $4,000 of a college education is completely free for most Americans, and will cover two-thirds the cost of tuition at the average public college or university and make community college tuition completely free for most students.
There at least a hundred such plans on topics ranging from Energy to Defense. You may not agree with the positions, but he has stated them for the record.
It's ok to support Hillary without getting angry at those of us who support Obama. I'm sure there is a convincing case to make on her behalf and if done so, I am sure she will win in the upcoming MD primary.
Happy Campaigning :).

Yes we need HELP and not HOPE!!!!!!!!!!
As a doctor, I am convinced Hillary is our only choice to save healthcare for all people. Obama's plan is weak and frightening. Cutting costs is not a safe way to go.
People of Maryland, D.C. and Virginia it is up to you.

P.S. This headline says it all "flock" to see Obama. Like sheep. Come on my fellow democrats!
Google Taylor Marsh for some enlightenment.

In the event that Obama does make it to the Presidential race I have no doubt whatsoever that he will never see the inside of the Oval Office.
There are many who would choose to assassinate him rather than have him sitting in that swivel chair.
I can sense another watermelon event coming on.

It appears to me that Sen. Obama's message to America is simple and in this sense he is the true conservative. He wants Americans, no matter who they are, to be proud again of their country, their leaders and their identy as Americans. Maybe, because of him and through him we will finally stop being Irish-Americans, Italian-Americans, African-Americans, Hispanic-Americans, white-Americans, black-Americans, female-Americans and the like, and become simply Americans, giving America the value and worth she is due.

hillary->70,000 job LOSS in upstate N.Y.(I live here. I know)
hillary->zero leadership capability; flip-flop on Iraq war; you don't stick your finger in the wind regarding war!
hillary->No foreign policy experience; cerimonial 1st "lady." Never had a security clearance.
hillary->7 years as N.Y. senator; accomplished nothing.
hillary->rapist enabler for bill, who raped JUANITA BRODDRICK; Put "clinton rape" in Google search you will have plenty of information.
hillary->defendant in Peter Paul criminal and civil lawsuit for campaign finance fraud. Trial opens for discovery proceedings on Feb. 21 (this month).
hilary->health care failure in 1994; wants to set up communist style national health system that will have an annual cost of $110 billion dollars.
hillary->lied about absurd 5 trillion dollar surplus during bill's term. FACT: clinton left Bush with a 132 billion dollar deficit. Don't take my word. Go to the treasury department's website.
America at this point in time is NOT ready for a female president. Especially in this time of war, with a retrograde ideology such as radical islam. I have a number of academic colleagues who are Muslims. I have tremendous respect and affection toward them. Having said that, I also know at this time in history, the Arab world would not have any respect for a female president.
Adding this to the fact that the clintons have a long history of corruption, hillary rodham would make an abysmal president.
I am not an Obama supporter. However, I do know both of the clinton's are an anathema to this country. My comment to hillary supporters is: do some serious research about your candidate.

I hear Yuma Arizona has a great socialized health care system for illeagal aliens. I don't want that to become a model for the entire country.
