Dems Turn 'Where Are The Jobs?' Chant On GOP

Full story: WFMZ 39
Republicans won sweeping victories last November by taunting Democrats with "Where are the jobs?" Democrats are now throwing those taunts back, saying it's Republicans who will knock thousands of Americans out of work with their demands for deep cuts in federal spending. Full Story

Government cannot efficiently create sustainable jobs, nor can they create jobs without destroying other jobs. The government cannot create capital. They can only take capital gained in the private sector and redistribute it. The free market is a much better at redistributing capital because it is based on consumer demand, not the whims of government. Government loves to measure the jobs it creates but fails to account for the jobs they destroy.

Every State and municpality went right into the read forcing them to increase taxes. Great Plan. Hopefully the new crop of Republican are smart, but so far it looks like business as usually, sit back and do nothing or go after non-economical targets.
John,

Read up on what you're typing. Any state/municipality that is in the crapper has been led by democrats. Don't be fooling yourself John, liberalism is a disease and the only way to get rid of them is to starve their programs. You also need to stop copying your liberal leaders talking points and get an original thought...or do something that most liberals never do, develop common sense. You can actually start that process by researching before you spew.

The latest job warcry came from the frighties. Booted themselves into office. They didn't hesitate to go after Obama after being elected. Forget already? Another case for Aricept therapy. Crawl back in your crater.
You are clueless. I would be that you work for the local dimwitocrap office. Either that or you're a union stooge.
Either way, just because you repeat something that isn't factual doesn't make it real.

Neither party has the answer to the debt or the jobs situation. These two parties are incapable of running the country. Get rid of this two party dictatorship.

I have three brothers, My husband has three sisters, we have 22 nieces, and nephews, and 24 grandchildren and they are all working, except the ones under 20 years old. How can that be? Not all are college students. I think it has to do with work ethic. They take their jobs serious, and do a good days work for a days pay, and when one was laid off for a short time, they didn't whine, or lay around feeling sorry for themselves, they got another job. It's attitude, and determination.

Morning, Without her type, your type would be forced to work and that just wouldn't do for you liberal morons.

Shady, I applaud you and your family. If more people had that work ethic America would be as stong as it used to be. Hopefully your family passes on that trait to their children and their children's children. God Bless you and your family.

for quite a long time now the public has had to deal with the incoerent babble of the political posture of the country as a whole!! repubs against dems over and over again - a 24/7 mantra!! a solution to this is simple - everyone change their registration to independent and vote your choices as independent!! after all it is a fact that the majority of the nation's beltway bandits are hiding from their real political identities!! in this country communists - socialists - marxists are the majority!! they are too embarassed and corrupt to stand on their own politics in the sunlight!! the internet is an excellent place to identify each and every politician and support with actual facts - actual films - actual newsprint that can be viewed around the world by anyone interested!! so - spending time getting to know these miscreants - most of whom have spent their entire public service hoping and praying that the day will never come that will expose them because exposure will lead to their fall and hopefully everyone will get involved with just who is holding them back and who is lifting them up to achieving the american dream that this nation enjoyed for over 150 years before the miscreants -alive and dead entered into our lives!!

I am not a genius but i can tell you how to put everyone that wants a job back to work. Here is how to do it. Get out of all the free trade deals and go to balanced trade deals. It would work like this. If China wants to sell us billions of dollars worth of goods they must buy billions from us. They can't scream unfair trade because balanced trade is the fairest trade of all. The second thing to do is get rid of income tax. It is only there to keep the poor down and under control. If income tax is gone there is no incentive to get your money out of the country. If you keep the money at home it gets invested in businesses here. The government would not be out a single dime in taxes at the end of the month without income tax. There are so many other taxes in place that eat away at every earned and spent dollar they have it back in no time. I am issuing challenge to anyone out there to do the following. DESCRIBE TO ME THE ROUTE OF A PAYROLL DOLLAR THAT THE GOVERNMENT DOES NOT COMPLETELY TAXED BACK IN 10 TURN OVERS. Post your list on the thread and I will prove it can't be done.

Here is a simple man's take on a couple of things.
MONEY, there is only three things that can be done with money. SPEND IT and that creates demand and demand creates jobs. SAVE IT and that creates capital for homes and businesses. It also gives security for the future. TAXES that does none of the above but is wasted for the most part. It is used for war and vote buying not to care for the citizens. Tax money should be used for the common good. We live in a free market system as such you should never use tax dollars to bail out the greedy or foolish.
DEMOCRACY. Is a very good idea in principle but that isn't what we have today. We lost it when we allowed party politics. We don't vote for the best person to represent us we vote for the party. We don't feel we are part of the real government anymore, it is us against them. They take our taxes and spend them as they see fit. They are influenced by lobbyists and special interest groups not by what is best for the people they represent.
INCOME TAX This is the single most damaging tax ever thought of. It kills a huge portion of the economy and is there only to control. It forces money off shore instead of investment at home. It is also totally not necessary in fact it hurts revenue. There are multitude of taxes collected on just about everything. If you could keep your income tax you could create more demand for goods and services. Demand fuels job growth which creates more income to create more demand. Couple this with a bunch of balanced not free trade agreements and everyone goes to work.

when and if (which is doubtful) the public wakes up to reality and actually not sound bytes america will change - but it needs the people on board to do so - not the gov't!! live with this reality - obama is only the "poster boy" not the brains and brawn that is the public perception!! you don't need rocket science to figure that out!! apparently - we have a glut in actual rocket scientists in this country at present!!
