The FDA shouldn’t receive more money until they effectively use the money they have.
The cost of keeping contaminated food off our plates is incredibly high and more important than ever. Yet the FDA continuously tries to expand their reach making it an inefficient organization lacking proper direction. While the FDA spends time and money trying to regulate dietary supplements by banning natural ingredients, many of which whose synthetic versions produced by big pharmaceuticals companies are approved and supported, while fish contaminated with mercury are knowingly sold in our supermarkets.
