Rep. Jack Kingston (R-GA), was on Real Time with Bill Maher on Friday. When asked about Sarah Palin's statement about death panels, Kingston said first that "It's a scare tactic, no question about it," and second that there are no such "death panels." Yes, this is a GOP member distancing himself from the insanity.

It's good to know there are at least a few reality based Republicans in the House of Representatives.

The Smear Campaign in back firing. The Rats are jumping ship before it's to late.

The smear campaign enticed intelligent americans to review the proposals for themselves.

The true debate is begining.

After Sotomayro, Obama and the opposition to all of his policies every though the stimulas has signs that it's working, if the republican congressmen don't distance themselves from this campaign and appear as if they are willing to solve the nation's problem they are doomed in the face of the country steading itself and moving forward.

In dont' see a way that some of the republicans in variouis states can be assured of a victory in the poll after alinating themselves from their communities minorities.

The party has bet their national future on this smear campaign

Cutting medicaid, limited money suplied to "old folks" care, and paying for Illegal aliens, is no myth. Most Americans do not want this, and to say they are "un-American" to disagree with Obama, is truly scary. Obama lies, old people die. Now go report this to Obama's "turn in your neighbor" web site.

It doesn't matter what a Republican Representative says about the introduction of Death Squads. It only matters what elderly Americans believe the Democrats are capable of, and they believe they are capable of killing off the elderly for fun, and profit. Democrats are liars. The longer it takes the Democrats to pass this bill the less likely it is that it will come to pass.

It doesn't matter what the truth is?
It only matters what people believe?

And you wonder why you loose elections?

Do we see a pattern of lies, fabrications and forged documents as the best efforts to discredit Obama?

You people (Dems) are so scared of Sarah Palin.

Why?

She isn't in office, she holds no political office and she hasn't said anything about the Presidency, but you people are so scared of her that you can't stop speaking about Sarah Palin.

What's the deal?

If the healthcare bill is anything like healthcare in Oregon then the government determines who is worth spending costly treatments on. it's all about money. Obama gets support from Big Pharma. Waxman claims it'll hurt seniors!

But that statement is accurate.
It didn't matter what the truth was.
The only thing that mattered is that people believed in change.
And so Obama won the election.

Did I miss the memo? When did America go off the deep end? There are no “death panels” Ms. Pailin nor will there ever be. The government will not say how or when your life ends. Think people. No one is going to be forced to have an abortion. Think people. No one is going to take money out of your bank account with out your permission. Think people. President Obama is a natural born citizen and is not a socialist. He has nothing in common with Hitler. Think people. The government will not ration your health care. Think people. Do you believe those disrupting the town meetings are interested in finding out what is the truth? The whole point of shouting is to keep the truth from be heard. Chanting NO NO NO is not having a discussion. No to what? Think people. Do you really believe that those paying hundreds of thousands of dollars to produce those TV adds you’ve been seeing are just looking out for your best interests, and have no other agenda? Advertising is to convince not educate. Think people.
When did the people of the US become so paranoid that they can buy a this kind of dribble with out question? What happened to rational thought? When did it become us against them? Win at all costs? What happened to “we the people”? I personally don’t care what side of the issue you’re on as long as you have the facts. If you are truly that passionate about this, it makes no sense that you don’t have the time or are too lazy to find out what is the truth. When name calling replaces mindful discussion we as a nation look like bunch of five year olds and everybody looses. Have some self respect. Turn off FOX news and MSNBC and start thinking for your self. Do some research, find out what the bill really says and doesn’t say. Read it. Ask questions. Be an adult. Be an American. Then if you have something to say let us know. Until then shut up and let those that have an informed opinion discuss their differences. Now that would be patriotic

"End of death provisions?" hmmmmm Are you referring to the provision which would required Medicare to pay for educating people about the medical and economic options available as they near the end of their lives should they desire it?

Ya like the republicans get no money from the insurance industry. Then why is the entire medical industry fighting this bill?
