REALITY: In Wake Of Obama Policies, Private Sector Grew While Government Workforce Shrank
President Obama's Policies Began Affecting The Economy After July 2009. According to economist Robert J. Shapiro: "From December 2007 to July 2009 - the last year of the Bush second term and the first six months of the Obama presidency, before his policies could affect the economy - private sector employment crashed from 115,574,000 jobs to 107,778,000 jobs."

Notice the Dates of the articles...... maybe you hadn't....however, it's obvious the policies enacted under Bush and the Republicans, are responsible for the condition that breeds Tent Cities in American Cities.... Unless you can identify within the first 12 weeks a policy reversal of the Bush/Republicans policies by the democrat,of the policies implemented before the democrats majority, your tripe is just sour grape and denial.

So it's your assertion that those Tent Cities were constructed in 12 Weeks? What legislation did George Bush sign into law during the democrats house majority in 2007 and 2008?

you believe that's a creditable argument?

Have you see the garbage they force the school kids to eat?
It's just warmed up, brought in already made. No real cooking.
Not in my school's kitchen. I go to work at 7 am so we can cook the meals for the lunches. I personally baked or steam the chicken breasts for the chicken salad and then dice them to be mixed with fresh onions, celery and a little bit of pepper for seasoning and then I add low fat mayonaisse. Nothing comes from scratch. I help prep out the fresh vegetables for the salad bar and help with other preparation. We use whole grain rolls for all sandwiches and the deli meats are sliced daily. The only food that is premade is the pizza and fries. We don't serve a lot of them but they are available. Our main cook makes her lasagna fromscratch and her sauce and meatballs are from fresh hamburger/turkey burger mix and fresh tomatoes.
We take pride in the fact that our students take a whole lunch everyday, including fresh fruit of some type and these are high schoolers.
It isn't business of the government telling me what my children can or can't eat for lunch while they are in school. Personally, I let them pack their own lunches and they take whatever they want for the day. That might include soda or tea but it is my business, not the governmants. MO should keep her baboon nose out of other people business. I bet she still eats her chitlins and greens and pigs feet. Oh, and don't forget the fried chicken and potatoe salad.

I owe students not a thing. I had kids. So I know what you are saying. Here is the new menu.....breakfast...corn flakes or oat meal with milk and juice...lunch....sloppy joes or hot dogs with a vegetable and milk or juice. You don't like it...DON'T EAT IT! You ain't owed. Bring your own in! The party is ending...

Obama's latest SCOTUS appointment would disagree with you.

Elena Kagan, a far-left Obama/Goldman crony with no attorney nor bench experience UNBELIEVABLY believes that the federal government has the right to tell Americans what to eat, along with being in favor of censorship and believing that gun ownership is not a right.

The same lying radical who (as Solicitor General, gasp!) argued before the Supreme Court that the federal government had the Constitutional authority to ban certain political pamphlets, along with implying that some political books, if partisan enough, could also be censored!!

The same liar who answered a senator that she didn't know what a "liberal progressive" was, and then later went on to describe herself as a "progressive democrat".

The same liar who refused to deny that government has the authority to tell Americans what they can eat.

Tom, I totally agree with you that a parent's responsibility includes feeding their kids.

Unfortunately, it seems many people on this forum would rather have that responsibilities handled by the state.

To them freedom is having the government PROVIDE for them.

Can you imaging them saying: "Hey, this is free country -- FEED my children for me."

Little do they realize how they contribute to this country slipping AWAY from personal freedom and TOWARDS state control of our lives.

In the past 31 years the bottom 50% of US lost 30% of the piece of the pie they had in 1980. BUT THE TOP 5% GREW THEIR "SHARE" BY 80%.

From 1950-1980 the bottom 50% of US grew our incomes 75%. Next 28 years 1%.
