There are no real spending cuts in Obama's financial plan. There is also no budget planned. He pretends, and talks about cuts, but they do not exist. It is all smoke, and mirrors. It worked for 4 years, and that is why he is so frustrated that the Republicans called his bluff, and are holding the line on spending. We are so proud of them. We need to reelect all of them, and add some new Republicans to the Senate.

The American voters did not reward extremism last fall their appetite for it will shrink as the economy slowly improves. GOP had it's chance to get the President when he was wounded and the economy way staggering.

With the lack of a coherent opposition the Democrats benefit. The country benefits when both parties have the ability to meet in the middle and compromise. If the GOP continues to expel RINO's the country loses as the GOP loses

Either political party may fall in love with their radicals When it happens it always works out bad for the party. The Democrats let the radicals run the show back in 1972 , they got 37% and deserved it. If your going to do the country any good you got to come in from the cold If you allow your ideals to become seen by the middle as fringe , you ain't promoting your ideals either

Conservatism is legal. If they lose, they lose. Progressives have stolen the wealth from the middle class and working poor not on their agenda. I don't particularly care. And if our future is the progressive way, they will find tens of millions of more slow moving converts to help put much more massive pressure on the system. And this does not even include the boomers retiring. Wait until the housing industry really busts and they stop artificially propping it up. When you say radicals of 1972, who the hell do you think is in charge? We are what they wanted. The nation moved left no matter who was in charge. Now we are officially broke.

LBJ had some in the party opposition over the war in Viet Nam then about 1967-8 the Democrats began to really embrace McCarthy, McGovern ect... from 1968 through 1992 only Jimmy Carter won for the Democrats and if it weren't for the anger with Nixon, Ford would have won the '76 election easy. For the sin of caving into their radicals the Democrats spent 24 years in the desert. I never said it was illegal nor immoral to be conservative. What I was saying is this. Taking a party from it's moderates and crashing it has a cost. I just wonder if , there comes a point in time that a cause get best served by 'tactical' thinking

If you agree that America don't like radicals. Explain Obama's winning but margins that W. could only dream of. explain the second line

That's a reduction of more than $500 Billion in Obama's first 4 years. What kind of math are you using in determining there has been no spending cuts? There has been a reduction of 750,000 public sector employees, compared to the 1.7 Million federal employee expansion during the Bush Administration reign of policy control in Washington. How is it you republicans are so disconnected from truth and reality?

The President jumped up, and down, screaming the "end is near" over the sequester, and the whole thing was less then 3% reduction in spending. We could save that much by canceling Obama's golf lessons.
