Getting the debt under control with the current batch of legislators that we have is impossible. This is the kind of rhetoric we had to put up with over $38 billion?Want some perspective on that?We spent more than $50 billion on interest alone in the last week.Whatever, you will feel the pain of your irresponsibility soon enough.(Actually,it's already here in the form of a weak dollar, just one of many reasons for rising prices)There is no other possible outcome if we keep spending money faster then we take it in.Unfortunately,Dems don't care. They will see this nation engulfed in flames before they admit their ideology is flawed.Like petulant children, they will stomp their feet and hold their breath, demanding they get their way, regardless of the consequences. This last week was only the beginning of their temper tantrum.

In 2011, The New Yorker magazine reported that MichaelGrimm was the subject of an internal investigation into allegations he abused his authority as a FBI agent in a nightclub in 1999. According to the article, written by Evan Ratliff, the incident resulted from a dispute between Grimm and his date's husband. A former NYPD officer working as a bouncer at the time said that Grimm remarked about the husband, "Ill fing make him disappear where nobody will find him." Grimm reportedly then returned to the nightclub twice, pulled out his gun once, and brought FBI and NYPD officers the second time.

Grimm said the article was written by a reporter "on a witch hunt" and that "this incident was fully investigated and I was cleared of all of the ridiculous and absurd allegations. To further entertain this partisan attack on my exemplary career and service to this great nation would be to give [the allegation] credence, of which it deserves none." The New York police department and U.S. Justice Department have refused to release documents regarding the incident.[7][8][9] Ratliff subsequently released additional material corroborating his article.[10]
